    If being free means he can't have any desire or friends, being truly free meaning he's bound to nothing, wouldn't that mean if he wanted friends, or if he wanted anything for that matter, that binds him to something, or anything that encroaches on his "freedom", that he couldn't fulfill that desire or want since it would make him less free. And if he's unable to fulfill what he wants, because of his freedom, that means his "freedom" is a chain in itself. Sunny needs to understand that if he is the one to choose what "binds" him, like taking care of his friends, then that's doesn't make him less free, since he freely chose to do that thing.

    Was it like that? No, not really. In the end, everything Sunny did was for himself. He was not trying to protect the refugees because it was the right thing to do or out of some kind of moral obligation. He was doing it simply because he wanted to. That was his desire.

    He was just trying to fulfill his own desires.


    That's what being hero is that's what a moral obligation is sunny what are you going on about if you are selfish i might as well be profane

    Am i the only one who actually likes this character development of his? Now he found a goal that he deems important. Something that isn't as shallow as just becoming strong and reach nephis' level. Something that HE himself chose.

    And i do agree, arcs with sunny acting solo have been indeed more interesting than reading the story through his own perspective and thus seeing him being portrayed as weaker or more stupid than nephis. But he is different now. Meaning their dynamic will also take shape with time, and I'm excited for that!!

          Those readers were worse than the ones here, Jin woo went back in time so that no one had to die because of the gates and people really thought that the fame that he had and people knowing who he is was more important that the lives of probably millions

      It isn't bout this.
      It is just that things starts to change drastically when either Cassie or Nephis appear and it somehow puts things into a perspective.
      And I like his character development, but it usually reverts when the two join in with him
      My guess is that Nephis and Cassie are G3's waifus.
