            Killing innocents isn't their motive, but yes, there would be unintended casualties because of their decisions.

            So far, Song seems to be more uncaring towards civilians.

            Also, I'm not sure if MC just killed the Valor people or not, but he shouldn't have as he's on 'their side' atm, and if they realised it, it'd be big trouble, because I wouldn't be so confident in that the Clan Valor wouldn't know about Sunny's involvement, they could use divination or other obscure ways and he isn't even wearing the weaver's mask it seems he had been wearing the mask afterall, so atleast that's good. But they probably won't because of plot armour.

            MC is also being too simple minded, thinking of every member of the Great Clans as enemies, while he's 'friends' with Roan, and that Night Clan Master, etc. Really is treating this as black and white a bit too much.

            On a side note, funny how Sunny feelings towards Mordret are described as complicated, even when he had tried to do much harm to the MC, and also how he killed everyone in a whole region in the Nightmare just for XP, while giving the excuse that their lives didn't matter because they were going to die anyways. MC feels such hatred when other character harms innocents like this, for eg Kurt and the Clans here, but no, not Mordret, no strong feelings of hatred for him or desire to end him.
