      He can't 'transform' into smaller forms. This because shadow shell wraps around his existing body so he can't shadow smaller things like Morgan for example but with this new technique he can directly change into the needed form by manipulating his shadow body

    I thought his next break through in shadow dance is by observing aquatic nightmare creatures and aerial creatures but this is also fire.


    Another thing is despite having the highest reserves of essence he tends to run out of them very fast. I don't think we noticed this with anyone else other than with some fodder characters.

    The fact that his 5 ascended cores are only able to hold on for like 2 and a half minutes while shadow manifesting doesn't feel right to me.
    Sure when he becomes a Saint his cores will be more capable and when he becomes a Teror he would have a massive amount (6/5 times more) of essence. But at this rate I feel like he wont last more than a few mins while going all out even in the future, as he grows stronger his abilities devour essence like a blackhole that only gets bigger.
    Imagine if he was a mere beast like a normal human. He wouldn't last 30 sec while manifesting shadows.
    I guess "maybe one day ,when he becomes stronger" is just a ilusion sigh

      I agree with you, but I think what it means is that Sunny discovered these techniques far too early. I believe these techniques at the Saint-level can be used lavishly.

      i dont think you realize this but sunnys aspect is not really combat oriented. but he is able to stand equal with nephis while she has a direct offensive aspect. if he didn´t use this essence this would not be able to happen

    Less comprehensive changes were much easier. Sunny already knew how to possess four arms, so he could add two more to his existing ones with ease. The same went for claws, horns, a tail... in the future, as his knowledge of various forms and shapes grew, he would be able to make more changes like that on the fly.
