    My predictions about what transformation ability the sunnys chorot would get.
    (Only beasts)

    Nephis - I think she will get transformation ability like phoenix

    Effie - tiger/lion/knight(the one she killed in 2nd nightmare)

    Kai - eagle/wyvern/dragon

    Cassie - I just don't know what would suit her butwhy

    Sunny - I think something like shadow(who knows)

      I read past when they became saint and strangely I don’t know Nephis or cassie transformations either. I barely read after that then took a masssive break so idk if I didn’t learn or simply forgot.

    So Whispering Blade simply disappears. But since he's still there, it means he's just transparent. But 100% transparency isn't physically possible. So one way to detect him would be polarised sight. Winter used to wear polarised sunglasses. And even if somehow he becomes 100% transparent, surely mundane thermal cams could detect him.

        Yeah, I mean, the shadows here are connected to the souls. But if you just try to illuminate a person from every side as much as possible, they won't suffer any damage. They won't even be weakened.

        G3 can just toss in an explanation that this is a "true invisibility", like you won't be able to clearly detect this saint in any form, at least visually. Just like shadows grow stronger if the light gets stronger, but there is also "true darkness", an absolute anti-light. At which point a "shadow" becomes "true darkness"? Or is darkness a purely unnatural phenomenon? Shadows form only in places where light doesn't reach, only true darkness can clash in a direct confrontation with light. Then what does Sunny stretching shadows in illuminated places imply? He just... Makes shadows exist there? How is it different from true darkness then?

        Just turn your brain off in such questions and imagine.

          My interpretation is that Sunny basically just prevents light from appearing in the areas where his shadows are. And true darkness doesn’t exist naturally; it’s an element that can only be created by very specific means, similar to divine flame.

        From what little I know, 100% transparency isn't possible because it's impossible for light particles, or photons, to simple pass through constituent atoms of any matter. Some light is always absorbed or scattered, even if to the most miniscule degree.

          what if the photons just pass through the object regardless, maybe there is some workaround in this universe which makes it possible to have them pass through stuff without interacting. or maybe its more like that LO49 terror, except instead of fooling individual creatures it fools the universe.

          theres more unscientific stuff like the dream realm and that mundane things cant kill awakened. it doesnt really make sense a lot of the time, so the way im looking at it is to just ignore it and take the authors word for it if he explicitly says something works like that

            Actually there's an explanation for why mundane weapons arent able to hurt nightmare creatures. It was explained in the earlier chapters, around the section where Sunny first meets the soldiers who're going to be under him for the Antarctica campaign.
            It's because of will, soul essence and the dream realm's imposition on the waking world. Any mundane weapons can hurt or even kill Dormant Creatures, but for even Awakened creatures, their will, no matter how weak is enough to shrug off the intent of destruction unleashed from mundane weapons. Absence of soul essence is another reason, as enchanted weapons channel soul essence which can hurt or kill them. And then there's the imposition of worlds. Nightmare Creatures essentially originate from the Dream Realm, and the dream realm's extent of reality is stronger than the intangible concept of reality of the waking world.
