    It's happened so many times. The Spell does give Memories that is suitable for the receiver, or sometimes, something that the receiver's in need of.
    This is probably how the Awakened hair stylist should have received a Scissor Memory back in NQSC.

      I've noticed the same, although it's not a 100% chance of getting what you want, not even 10% I think.
      It's just a predisposition for that to happen. Sunny receives swords and armor WAY more often than arrows, bows and shields, although there's always the chance of those appearing.
      Sunny didn't wish for a loud bell when he received his first memory, nor did he wish for the blood arrow at the Forgotten Shore. I mean, every single tool he received he didn't wish for them so...

        Well yeah Sunny didn't wish for an arrow, but the it would be stupid to not have arrows when he already had bows. And looks the 10% chance worked!
