    arent we downplaying saint here? as an awakened she would be able to subdue a fallen beast. meaning that right now she should be able to be on par with a GREAT beast right? so considering the horde was made up of mostly fallen devils at best (?) she should have been able to fend off most of them right?

    remember when her and nightmare were holding off a small horde consisting of 4 corrupted demons and a bunch of fallen all by themselves? and that was when she was only an ascended demon i believe.

    she doesnt have an aspect ability since its a nc but still

      you do know that the gap between ranks gets bigger the higher the rank right? im sure you noticed but the gap between a awakened and fallen is MUCH smaller then corrupted and great. and also the author probably let saint kill a fallen beast just for the sake of giving a good entrance. but this is not the first time the power scaling is off its a bit annoying

        so youre saying that even if saint is on par with fallen beasts as an awakened monster it does not mean she will he on par with great beasts as a corrupted (i forgot the good word) monster?

        yeah i have heard that the power gap enlarges at higher ranks but i cant get this concept to make sense, it is implied ranks scale exponentially which would mean the absolute difference gets larger and larger yes but the relative distance remains the same

      I'm not sure if rank abilities work for humans. Just as becoming a Demon for Nightmare creatures brings sentience and intelligence to the monster but didn't bring more intelligence to Sunny when he became one
