          I thought the same. G3 is Russian, but he can read, speak and write English. But I'm sure there's a translator/editor cuz of two reasons.
          1. I've seen this Eridul guy once or twice in other novels. He does translation work. And since he's here, so it's most likely he began translating at some point.
          2. I'm sure there's a translator/editor now, because somewhere after the chapter where Sunny enlisted for Antarctica, I started noticing these modern Gen-Z slang words like 'cooking' for an event, 'lowkey', and 'ride' for the Rhino. Now these are some that i noticed, and they're easy to miss or subtle. But there were none of these words in the beginning chapters or even around the 800s. And since the writing style has changed subtly, I think it's this Eridul guy working together with G3.
