    what happens when he satisfies the counter on that underworld mantle thing? isnt it the same as saturating your core as a normal awakened like its a cool flex but you wont be able to power up after

    why is this guy getting shards so incredibly slow, why is he only at 1600. like he just killed 100+ fallen thats 300+ shards. i guess the author has his reasons and maybe im just getting too dragged along with this guys competition against neph (at least she is in a troubled position to earn a lot of shards currently RIGHT?)

      Remember he only gets fragments from fallen and above and i think it gets less too as his rank increases.

      because he gets one fragment for every creature he kills the same rank as him. if he is ascended and kills fallen = 1 fragment. corrupted = 2. if he is awakened and kills one fallen = 2 and so on.

        yeah youre right apparently the entire thing "shifts". and something else that i missed the ranks scale exponentially meaning that at this point in time if he were to hypothetically kill a great beast he would get 4 fragments (not 3)
