    ... when is he gonna realize that he should have amassed a few other shadows and upgraded them? And he certainly had the means to. He just didn't use them correctly.
    Imagine 4, 5, 10 or even 20 shadows roughly the same power as Saint. Makes a big difference.

      Shadows are hard to keep since they require memories to be upgraded. 20 shadows that are awakened are not as useful against stronger enemies

        Yeah the upgrading part is a huge problem, though I do think there are better ways to get memories; mainly through betting.
        Sunny might have considered getting one if he could turn it into a Shadow, but he already knew that he had to possess the corresponding shadow in his Soul Sea to transform an Echo.

        Not exactly sure if he has to get the echo himself or if he can turn the echoes as long as he has a shadow of the same nightmare.
        I made this comment with the assumption that he can get many more memories. Otherwise, it's not gonna be worth it, specially the higher he goes since the relative value of his fragments go higher.

          he never had the chance to though. the only one he could was kurt. he can only transform echoes when he kills the creature himself. why? because he needs the shadow of the creature and he does not get that when an echo gets transferred so its not possible
