    I'm just going to assume that Sunny, being uneducated, doesn't understand atmospheric terminal velocity. Rather than the author being dumb. It would actually make perfect sense for Sunny to not know. Unless he's fallen at immense heights or shot something from immense heights, there's little reason to believe terminal velocity exists outside of a school environment. He's been very careful to not fall to his death all this time after all lol.
