    After my reread, I still believe the is the best conclusion to this fight. Cassie loved the two of them but the first one to come and save her was Neph (an actual knight in shining armor) while sunny became more of an older brother. She is the youngest of the group and you have to realize that her power isn’t for the weak, being able to see into the future is excruciating and for her to just awaken not too long ago (the start of the forgotten shore) to now, it’s only been a year. Unlike Neph and sunny, she had a caring family and never had to struggle a single time of her life, and the choice that she came up with was to save the one who was there for her first. Yes, she was naive, yes because of this sunny is now a “slave”, but she really hoped that if she gave the name, Neph would be saved. The dream showed her a battle to the death, and as readers we don’t know if all she saw was the angel dying (Neph) as the shadow (sunny) walked away, or if she even saw the outcome just as we saw.

    Pretty big rant (yeah this argument with Cassie is the whole book after this ch), but with the most recent ch;

    Thank you for my Ted talk, n if anyone does read this, lemme now your thoughts as I genuinely still love Cassie just as much as the rest of the cast

      Would you blame her? Her first experience with Nephis and Sunny in the Dream realm was really too drastic.
      One saving her and offering salvation without prejudice, the other asking the knight in shining armor to abandon the cripple. After receiving the vision who would you choose to save? Cassie's without blame. This happened before she became close with Sunny, hence her guilt and silence at Dark city.
      If anything, she works to redeem her actions? Let me not get started on the hypocritical Sunny.

    I hate it. Even if she 'doesn't want to harm him' she can change her mind and throw him under the bus in the future very easily.
    The same with Cassie. Even if he won't kill her I hope he at least will beat the shit out of her.
