    So what happens if you kill them while they sleep, wouldn't that be an easy way to prevent the gate.
    It may kill a future awakener, but those with preparations and higher chance of passing can be given a chance and people like Sunny/sunless can be executed on sight because they have higher chances of failing.
    Now this IS wrong and unfair but that world looks like it's a place where discrimination is commonplace and in a world like that this is a realistic method the government would opt for.

      hmm from what i understand.. it should still be the same as the real world before the event...
      at least there's still law and order like the existence of police and directive.. and it's still better than other apocalypse novels where nothing matters anymore

      Yes and no I think if people do the same as Sunny they will have chance to be awakened because probably they are too little of awakened in comparison to how many monsters there are and also like he said he is from slums so many of that kind of people die when try to become awakened without informing and so creating gates . And like people said it could be count as failed trail .
