    So im after 40 chapters and boy oh boy how bad it is. It starts preety cool Him being reincarnation and starting plot but for what reason we skip stright away 8 years of training? Why he mourns his father he knew for 3 years and we have no interaction between them whats so ever just belive he loved him thats what autor saying. And most stupid thing in here is why the F he goes to academy when he is ligthning champion and his grandfathers knows its... He needs to get as strang as he can not to mention whole competition is so f#cking stupid, he knows he have to hide yet he goes into competition.

    Not to mention stupid writing like he got beaten by light contender he heals goes back 5 minutes after his beating and kills him like WTF. Could be so much more if autor didnt skip and lazy write cuz concept is intresting.

    So for me based on those ~40 chapters i read its 2/5 not recomended.

        I would like you read Tyranny of Steel and still say harem are trash. The authors are trash when they use a certain tag and don't know how to actually use it. I don't see people saying all system(or whatever other novel tag) novels are trash just because the majority of them have poor quality authors. It's buffling how much hate the harem tag gets due to people not being able to recognize that the authors are shit.

          Just the idea of harem makes one think of plenty of girls at the disposal of 1 MC, which often means girls are to be protected, or don't do much of their own accord / own free will. So the very basis of a harem doesn't appeal to me. Hence, I'll say I dislike harems in general.

          Also, if you tried 10 times to eat a certain fruit, let's say pear, even if others say it's good, it doesn't mean you have to keep trying, if you dislike it. That's the same with tags.

          Lastly, I have already read that people dislike systems.

          Please take note that I never here talked about how one author may or may not make it better or worse through their writing capabilities.

            There is a huge difference from disliking a tag and saying that the tag in general is bad. Also your point on the harem members being useless depends on the author. What can actually make the harem less desirable is that most authors don't know how to develop characters and in return the harem tag (that is heavy on character development) turns out to be bad. Furthermore , the system tag doesn't get as much hate as the harem one. Lastly , although you didn't mention anything about authors , it is a fact that every novel that you might bring as an example of how harem is bad would most likely reveal that author just doesn't know how to properly employ the tag. As I said before a situation where a tag can make any novel automatically bad rarely exists. In most cases you might find bad combinations of tags or more probable is that the author has no clue of what he is doing and thus messes up.

              I am generally uninterested and even disgusted by the idea of having more than 1 partner at the time, I simply consider it cheating.

              I neither desire to have 2+ partners for myself nor do I wish to be a part of a harem.

              This has nothing to do with the author. Harems are generally disgusting, that's all there is to it.

              And if you think about it clearly, you'll quickly realize that harems have never been harmonious in any way. Obviously, if people wish to read or have a harem, as long as I'm not involved, I won't care too much.

              My opinion though, has always been this: Harems are trash.

                Rule #1 never judge someone else's fetish. Also in your first and second reply you never mentioned that harems themselves are trash. What you said is that the MC is forced to protect the harem members , the harem members are useless or bland. The whole harem = cheating is pretty dumb. There is a huge difference between f#cking around with having a harem( or being polygamous). Usually a harem is established by someone of power (members are either willing or unwilling depends on the situation) or an initial couple have reached agreement and understand what it means to have more people in their relationship. It's like saying swinging is cheating. Although I don't like swinging in itself , I would never say that whoever is swinging is a cheater and a horrible person. Cheating is betrayl , is something you do without the knowledge or consent of your partner. Harems , polygamy and swinging are a completely different situation where all parties involved know what they are getting into. Next time you try to force your beliefs on anyone else you might try to see their pov. And no if you are just gonna hate on a tag for no particular reason in a thread where others wants to see whether this novel is worth or not , you are not welcome!!

                  The only thing I said, was that I hate Harems in all shapes and forms. I think it is disgusting. And my opinion won't change, ever.

                  My opinion actually has nothing to do with you, you are choosing to take it personally, which really isn't my problem.

                  I don't think you really understood my comments either, from the very beginning I said that Harems are trash. Whether the protagonist is very impressive or not doesn't matter in the slightest.

                  I am not willing to entertain the POV of someone that likes Harems. You can choose to like it, but leave me out of it.

                  You literally said harems can only be trash. Also I never enforced my view of harems are good or not on you. What I said was that saying a certain tag is trash and then parading in every review section of a novel reminding everyone how harem is trash is illogical and you enforcing your views on others. In my comment I didn't refer only to you but everyone else that does the same thing. Lastly what I did mean by my original comment is that in most cases the author is in fault when a story is bad not the tag. The closest thing you can get when a tag is bad , is when you have a bad combination between tags. If harems are trash or not is our preference but saying a novel is trash by the mere virtue of a tag you don't like in a review section (where others will check to see if they want to pick the story) is enforcing your will and preferences on others while not bringing anything of value expect being a twat.

                  For me, personally, again, a novel with the Harem tag, no matter how well-written it is, can only be trash. That is how it is for me and it will never change, no matter what you say.
