    I'm updating my wild and improbable theory; the 13th Primordial, who was thought to be dead, is actually someone with a transcendent grasp of the concept of oblivion or a lineage. They have to be powerful enough to surpass Viper's lineage at least, This makes me wonder if this has anything to do with the first sage, specifically when he remembered things when Jake mentioned them to him..
    I don't think they were a necromancer since we already have another Primordial for that. Maybe something like mind manipulation? Or perhaps they forget they died? I don't know, that's my update. Readers of the future can laugh.

    Before this chapter, there was a chance that the Viper was actually behind the kidnapping.
    He definitely couldve contacted Oras and made a deal with him not to prevent the other gods from suiciding but just to keep Jake safe. What is the motive, idk..
    But now after this mini outburst in front of Eversmile, there is still a chance it was acted out (the outburst) to seem like he is the least likely culprit.
    But i honestly think the Viper doesnt want to harm Jake

      One of the other void gods also? Oras seems more like an opportunist. Maybe he could have seen what would happen from this interaction, but I feel it more likely that some other vg was doing this and oras let it happen. Like one related to bewitching or thought rather than observartion.
