    Yeah I am not really "feeling" the writing in the novel so far. I don't know how to describe it (I am not a writer) but it's not smooth enough

      it turned into a decent novel, dialogue did feel stiff and character actions did seem a bit forced at times but it was alright. his second work, which i’m letting marinate for now (advent of three calamities ) is a much easier read in the beginning. this novel has good plot twists and a very good plot though, so you probably shouldn’t drop it

        the fact I'm reading this again after forgetting and after reading advent is quite funny because like u said there is a very major incline in quality in advent which made it a really good read and I believe this becomes decent-good after some chapters I think

    LOL what level?? the MC was a shut-in and since coming to this new world he has no combat experience or even experienced the apocalyptic world, I would assume the residents of a apocalyptic world would be better built as it's a survival and they aren't the dominant race of the world for them. The skill to differentiate your strengths against a master would be acquired after horrendous training or the very least meeting an actual master level individual in person while they are displaying their strengths. The MC has no such experience and even if he was the author and has greater knowledge about the skill and power level, he was just an author who has no comparison to gauge the level of an individual that he hasn't written about before or their current level . If this was said after the MC has experienced a few battles with monsters and an actual battle with other human beings of the present world would he have a scale to assign an individual to. As up to now he has neither encountered any masters or witnessed any fights to form a scale, this is just bullshit.

    On another note, this look like the viewpoint of a novel fan who has read the novel multiple times and has memorized the entire novel.
    If it was really the viewpoint of the author he would have more explanatory thoughts as to why such and such things happened, but there has been no such thing.
