The Memory Inheritor

Every time Wei Hongsi wakes up, a line of text appears before his eyes:

— Strive to become someone who contributes to human society!

After careful observation and analysis, he becomes convinced that he has schizophrenia.

Until one day, the content of the text changes.

Wei Hongsi begins to gain abilities he never possessed before—along with fragmented, ambiguous memories that seem real yet unreal.

He comes up with two possible explanations:

His system has officially come online.

His schizophrenia has gotten worse.

…

Humanity has never stopped exploring the nature of memory, seeking ways to rapidly pass knowledge and skills to the next generation—hoping to drastically shorten the learning process and achieve leaps in technological advancement.

Or perhaps… another form of immortality.
