Reincarnated As A Peasant

Landar is reborn in the body of a young boy to a peasant family in the western duchy of the central human kingdom. In the heart of an oppressive economic system, starting from the lowliest of places, he will fight to build on the foundations his family has laid for him. All while fighting off an illness someone like him isn't supposed to have.

Sakura lived a life of near slavery. Her low social credit rating prevented her from improving her station. When she died she woke up in the body of a girl from a powerful family within the far eastern Jade Empire. However, not everything is as it seems.

Even those of the highest places must bow to someone. Sakura and Landar must choose which masters to serve, as civil war and invasion brew in the far corners of their world. While a threat from the far north once thought long defeated begins rising again.

Only through power can they ascend. Only through power can they set the world to right, and prevent or correct the injustices they have seen first hand. And only through power, can they protect all that they have grown to love.

The only question is, can they seize it in time?
