The story was good until the author decided to add a bitch as a master for the MC when he doesn't even needed one in the first place.

That's it. You can read the whole story in the description. Great. That saves plenty of time. How did this thing get so high up in the rank?? Is everybody even seeing the same thing?

I have read up to the latest chapter in MTL (around 1370) and it's pretty disappointing, but I'll still keep reading it anyway cuz I like overpowered MCs.
It was great till chapter 200ish but it's just a downward curve from there.
The humor just gets really forced at later chapters and the MC just acts like a weirdo for the sake of 'comedy' (not funny anyway). The author also tries to show MC as this cool guy, while he just seems dumb 90% of the time.

The system, Picking Up Attributes, is quite new as I've only seen it once in another novel (Picking Up Attributes From Today), but there are some obvious differences between the two and how it's used.
The one thing I hate is that MC just goes braindead and doesn't use it properly like he should be able to collect different physiques and bloodlines and whatnot but doesn't put any effort into that while just the physiques he has currently give him a huge boost.

The love interest doesn't make any sense at this point, he has spent a minimal amount of time with her while there are others that would be a much better option. It would be better for it to just be a harem but we're still not there in translation.

The plot armor- the system drops just what he needs at the moment always.

Then we have nationalism (gotta love that china ass-kissing), not there in translations yet. Though it's not totally unbearable.

The plot holes... well let's just say who doesn't have a hole.

Story Progression is quite slow and fast at the same time. I thought it would be quite a fast cultivation progression but surprisingly it isn't cuz the system gives him fewer attributes every next time. Well, that's one way for the author to stretch the story. But the MC still progresses pretty fast in comparison to others so the characters always keep getting forgotten.

Also with how rich and powerful he is now, you'd think he'll help his family to cultivate as well so they would have longer lifespans, but no, he doesn't even bother.

The characters just seem like they have a single personality trait and are there to show how good MC is. The character interactions are also dumb.

Lastly, this seems like it will easily go for around 3000 chapters.

Rating at MTL (chapter 1370)- 2.7

The System is quite interesting, so you can still read it if you like OP MC and the system.

This novel started out as Earth connected to cultivation world with portal type genre but author scarp the idea after a few hundred chapters and started writing a fan fiction of IET "swallowed star". Here are the thing author just straight up copied from IET,



It's like re-reading the same book but everything is poorly explained coz he's just a plagiarist and doesn't understand the world himself. Later He just bank on the fact that you've read ST before so he won't have to explain the world building. I stick with it coz of fun system that at least make it bearable but the author loses his marble in later chapters when

MC started cultivating like regular people, he started saving up and buy expensive cultivation system/battle techniques, resources etc when the whole point of novel is MC can pick those attributes bubbles! It was so frustrating when author just overturn a genre after thousand chapter change it to something else. I stopped reading that, I liked it coz of system but MC just went braindead and give-up on system and started coping Luo Feng.

A pretty good novel to fill the void
Has a mc with a system and usual stuff, also have humor(forced at later chapters), not recomended for people who like really fast power ups

Unfortunately I realised that the downward curve for this novel starts around chapter 190, overall interactions become more stupid with lots of forced humor.

I have read more than 300 chapters in mtl and I like it a lot, however I feel that the mc falls into a situation where, although it can fight with everything that is below 9 stars, a war general kills it with one blow. Another thing is that the mc never uses is forced to fight a battle to the death where he has to use all his cards so there is never any price from anywhere.
Another thing is that the mc almost stopped training and everything from the understanding of weapons and cultivation is done by the system.

Another annoyance is the nationalism that exists, they speak as if China represents the entire human race and there are no other countries. Another thing is that he never takes anything seriously, an example is that he found a land that would accelerate the speed of cultivation and what does he use it? ! no, do you tell his allies or aminos his location? either! So what does he do? any!

I have read around 170 chs. My comment on this novel is-
Story is actually good and translation is also very good
But power progression is way slow compared to other system type novels. And also like typical sytem type novels story is not very much focused on system itself . That is con for me.

MC introduce his computer as an Apple product but the operating system is narrated as being window 11?

WTF? Which Apple laptop or desktop has window OS? What are going to do next, say that IPhone is also android?
Or that Jack Ma's net worth is bigger' that Jeff Bezos?
Just from the description of smaller detail we could see the author being nothing but a f#cking twit!
I would rate this novel as 2.2/5.

P.s : To all those who clicked the dislike button, i get that you wanna protect the reputation or whatever it is of this novel but get this through your head; if a writer can't even entertain the thought of doing a little research on his own before writing cockamami shit, than you people (the button pusher) are nothing but bunch of lazy faggots.
