The human Race is at war with the Vicious Dalki and when they needed help more than ever, THEY started to come forward. Humans who had hidden in the shadows for hundreds of years, people with abilities.

Some chose to share their knowledge to the rest of the world in hopes of winning the war, while others kept their abilities to themselves. Quinn had lost everything to the war, his home, his family and the only thing he had inherited was a crummy old book that he couldn’t even open.

    So this is a review? I read until chapter 550~ I think? One of my first novels?( Well other than that xianxia/wuxia sh#it , yeah it's only of my first) and It was good at that time .
    Kinda when I thought monarch of time was too great , it's the same as this.
    Well monarch of time is good don't get me wrong , but not to the point of some other masterpieces.
    My vampire system starts off like this ( forgive me/correct me if I'm wrong , it's been a long while since I read this)
    A student who's trash at everything? Typical mc background, and then gets a book that was handed to him by the government when his parents died against the race that was mentioned on sypnosis.
    Anyway , then he gets friends , meets a girl who
    BUT
    And more dudes who are just random at some point , and at 550~


    Anyway overall rating from 10-200 4/5 ( well just the story , not mc development or that stuff , just the system and how it helped the growth of mc , and romance is non-existent anyway)
    and from 201-550 I got bored of it so 1.5/5? Idk what happened since back then I kinda had the excited new novel reader's vibe , so even with that I stopped it lol.

    Anything left out? Remind me. If it gets any better tell me lol but I'm not wasting my time to read 500 more chapters just so it gets better on the 1000 or so chapters but gets worse later on lol.

      It get better like a lot better everything the stuff you think was left untouched or unexplained is explained and everything is interconnected and till the latest chapter where i am i feel if the things that happened didn't happen this story wouldn't be the same

      Gotta love Richard Eno and Graham as characters
      they are the life of the novel and of course Arthur is damn great character
      almost cried at Bryce's death and used to hate him till the chapter he died
      but not anymore

          Author deletes bad reviews and releases lots of chapters

          Edit: I made a mistake, he doesn’t delete ALL THE BAD REVIEWS, but there are so many good ones that it outshines the bad ones. Also, this is one of the best novels to start out with, but as you read more novels, you’ll slowly lose interest

    Good novel, slow but interesting world building
    A little stupid Mc, saves a traitor who burdens him even more
    He wasted his vampire curse family skills, to such a pathetic idiot, and then I dropped this novel.
    He should have offered the skill to layla, not even to the pathetic one who playing victim.
