“From this day forth, you are the Sect Master of Qingxiao Sect!”

After leaving behind these words, his master abandoned Li Qingqiu and the remaining disciples, descending the mountain alone in search of immortality.

That very day, Li Qingqiu awakened the Dao Lineage System a mystical interface that allowed him to view his disciples’ loyalty, talent, and fate attributes.

Each time the Qingxiao Sect ascended to a higher tier, he could even replicate the fates of his disciples.

Starting from the martial world, cultivating amidst the mortal dust, he embarked on the path of immortality.

In a chaotic era where rogues of the jianghu fought and feuded for honor, where noble families pursued the Dao at any cost, trampling countless lives,

Li Qingqiu led the Qingxiao Sect to rise step by step beyond the grasp of mortals.

Across the heavens, the cultivation world teemed with lineages and rival sects vying for supremacy.

From humble beginnings in the mortal realm, Qingxiao Sect became a sacred name in the hearts of all the Immortal Sect of Eternal Life.

The world only knew Li Qingqiu as a master of discerning talent, capable of training generation after generation of prodigies who secured destiny for his sect.

Yet none realized that the one who truly possessed the fabled destinies the [Undying Overlord Body] , [Blazing Sun Dao Heart] , [Mystic War Soul] , [Free Spirit Command] , and [Supreme Five Spiritual Roots] was Li Qingqiu himself, the most terrifying existence within the Qingxiao Sect.

Ages passed, and old companions turned to dust.

When Li Qingqiu sat alone upon the Dao Platform, lost in memories of bygone days a disciple appeared before him.

“Master, the world says you are the only eternal one.

That if one refines your immortal flesh, they can achieve eternal life.

So please… grant me that chance.” Collapse

Here goes this loser again with his cookie-cutter ideas. All his novels are carbon copies of each other. It's all so mediocre, and the enemies just keep coming wave after wave like in Vampire Survivors.

the description is quite the same as The Strongest Sect of All Times as he need his disciples to get strong but stronger on his own in the latter stage which is one of my favorite type. especially when the author's previous work is Top Tier Providence, Secretly Cultivate for a Thousand Years. definitely has some credible to his work. hope it's good as his previous work or even better than that.

I Read 70 chapters and found this was just mediocre. There isn't really any plot. the mc is op so very little tension. the sect building isn't detailed and ultimately stale. no disciple of the sect dies including completely irrelevant background characters even if they are put in life risking situations so less tension. the characters aren't interesting or particularly deep. the cheat doesn't work using any criteria explained to the reader, just authors whim, and mc rarely gets the opportunity to copy his disciples talents. Since about chap 50, the mc hasn't really progressed in his power other than just cultivation stage, no new techniques learned or created even tho he has gained more from his cheat, so very stale progression in this novel. just the mc breaking through by accumulating energy sometimes. None of this is particularly immersion breaking and could easily be read through. There is also no stand out good points to praise. so in my opinion this is just really mediocre and at most a decent read to pass the time. It may get better and I will probably read this to pass the time so maybe I will update this. Edit: update in replies

You should read further. The demonic emperor arc is just the tutorial zone. The conflicts and dangers escalate, sect members die & the world itself expands further. The mc is still OP, but he is only one man, here we see the limits of that.

I have continued to latest chapters, which is 302, and I have found this to be very enjoyable as a chill read, especially with chill music. Although still mediocre, it shows some glimpses of brilliance when it comes to the side characters. The side characters are truly well written when the author puts effort into their stories. Sometimes they lose, sometimes they win. Other times they may lose a precious loved one or gain a new friend/lover. Most importantly, they learn and grow. This adds so much depth and character to those side characters, it makes them feel alive.

In comparison, the mc is truly the most uninteresting character in this story. He is op so he never loses a fight, his friends and family never die and so never truly feels grief and lose, he just never fails at anything and gains want he wants pretty easily. At most, he lost a close subordinate, but that was just a plot point from another side characters story that inadvertently effected him. And his character is pretty shallow in my opinion, his conduct and morals are pretty average and cliché for a cultivation mc. This makes his story very uninteresting. In cases likes this, I look to the mc's powers or cheat to peek my interest, however in this story the system is pretty Inconsistent while being cliche. And while the mc has access to all of his sects spells and techniques, he only ever uses sword techniques or movement techniques, and the sword techniques aren't very imaginative either(there is bias here btw. I think sword cultivation is the most boring type of cultivation, even worst than basic five elements cultivation). Ultimately I found the mc to be the greatest flaw to this story.

The second greatest though, is the pacing. From the beginning of the story to chapter 302, only 23-24 years have passed. Yet, the growth of the sect and cultivation of all disciples is just far too quick, even for those with mediocre talent. And most glaring is the forced tension. Every couple of years, a new sect destroying threat crops up and growth of the threats is very linear. New threats are weaker than the mc while being stronger than almost all the sect disciples and the previous threat. It feels very superficial and predictable. Whether it's the growth of the sect or the threats, in the time frame the author present, they all feel unnatural and forced. The author unfortunately doesn't use timeskips as often as he should, and doesn't focus on slice of life and sect building as much as he should be for a story about sect building.

This is one of my recent favorites. I might have some bias because this is my favorite type of genre but do let me give my opinion. I like how the mc’s cheat makes him strong but not excessively so. Because of this, he isn’t carrying the sect by himself. He is absolutely the strongest and the source of this sect but he doesn’t do everything himself. His cheat power is that he can see the talents/destiny of disciples of his sect, and he can see their loyalty to the sect and himself. He also gets the chance to copy a talent/destiny of any disciple of his sect every once in a while, whenever his sect does something that brings them one step closer to being stronger, for example big wins in battle or a major advancement in cultivation realm for one or a large group of people, or the creation of an immortal path like formations, stuff like that. He can also occasionally get fortune that helps his sect in a similar way, like finding some spirit mine. What I really like about this novel is that everything is going one step at a time so far (chapter 265). The area the sect is in has no other immortal sects and barely anything related, only martial art sects. Because of this, the mc’s sect has to improve in all areas themselves. While this is a novel mostly following the mc, it also follows the sect’s growth a lot and the various disciples. I hope the author can keep this up and doesn’t rush it, I remember one of his other books rushed at some point and I still have trauma😰.
