    4.9 rating! I'm really proud of this community quiet
    One of the best xianxia novel out there, be it if you're new to this genre or a veteran this is a must to read. The Mc is a true cultivator so he doesn't have time to lose looking for women when his life is in perpetual danger and he got his ambitions , there will be romance yes but it's negligeable, no harem and the Mc partner isn't some 2D woman following the Mc everywhere she got her own objectives and ambitions, and her powers are properly gained by herself
    . Don't expect too much on the emotional side of the Mc, he got emotions but know how to hide them, he ain't some beta Mc being arrogant all the time when you could avoid 80% of your problems if you were humble. The Mc powers are mostly gained by himself he doesnt have the bloodline of some god or a treasure of some ancient era neither some sort of system, he only got his brains and his wits.
    The world building is really well done, you know the story is good when while reading you feel like you're inside that world. The other characters are really realistic so the author saved us from the arrogant young master every 10 chapters or the Mc having enemies everywhere with absolutely litlle to no reason.
    In short it's really an excellent read and demark itself from the other xianxia genre, hope you'll enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed it

    This is a treasure. World building is awesome, story writing is almost perfect, author is professional when it comes to adventure themed storylines. The ruthless personality of the MC is disturbing and tiring at first but at the later chapters you will learn to appreciate his efforts just to satisfy his ambition. The detailed writing of the MCs growth is awesome, his experiments, power boosts and revenge are satisfying (mc hates being caged a lot and many organizations want to cage him due to his monstrous potential). So don't drop it completely, it's okay to take a rest when you find the story tiring just like I do. Once you reach the later chapters you'll realize that it's worth it.

      Please tell me this isn't a harem so I'll start it without waiting another second. For God's sake the last three stories I read were harems (I hate harems) and I'm so sick of it that I don't plan on reading harems for a while, even if the story is great. By the way, I'm having a hard time finding good cultivating novels these days, so I'd appreciate it if you could recommend me a few. (People claim to have read hundreds of cultivating novels in the comments and I'm very curious where they got them lmao. If you add up, I've read at most 15-20 novels on this subject so far)

    One of favourite novels.
    °This is novel is about a young man who was killed in past life and reincarnated into a cultivation world.
    °MC of this novel is smart, ruthless and apathetic.
    He was without a purpose in last life (like a wandering soul) but he now has boundless ambition in this life.
    I have seen most of the people say that MC is cold and apathetic, and yes he is, but that's what who he is and what makes him unique.
    And yes, I agree that he is just too much cold that he considered his mother just as a woman who gave birth to him, and although he wanted to make her life better he always kept himself as top priority but he does feel sad about it later and like I said that is who he is.
    °The world background of this novel is pretty decent and honestly I like the cultivation system very much because of its uniqueness.
    °The side characters are also very fleshed out, they have their own characters and backstory.
    And few characters are so well made that one just couldn't help but take a liking to them, like Divine Demon or King Elbas.
    °I have seen many people cursing FML to death and I honestly don't understand their reason, I understand that she waisted his months or sometimes years but she is very important part of his individuality and j don't want her to die.
    This is my belief but I think every novel should have and FML at least even if introduced in later stages (unless the novel story doesn't suit it), after all even if the MC of a novel achieved the absolute peak and became unrivaled, so what. He will be all alone and without anything even if he stood above everything and don't give me detachment bullshit (we are humans with lifespan who are reading this novel not Immortal cultivators that we forgot emotions with time).
    °Anyway, this novel is also pretty good at presenting best fighting scenes.
    °But the one thing I like about this novel the most is MC and his hard work, honestly, other transmigraters might get cheat like system or ultimate cultivation technique, what MC has is the fruit of his own hard work. I mean honestly MC was born as a whoreson in a Nobel family and didn't have bright future due to the restrictions placed on him, yet he didn't obtain walking old man's inheritance and became supreme but built everything on his own, he cultivated unorthodox technique just to gain a bit of power, he tricked people but what he obtained and learned was all due to his hard work, he made himself and someone didn't just gift it to him, and this is aspect that makes this novel worth reading and addicting for me!

      eh aren't you phoenix?jokes aside first of all this isn't us reader's life but journey of a cultivator longing for freedom, heaven and earth and immortality.and also i don't have anything against romance and i don't hate june either but i still hate the romance in this novel.simply becuz it was just bad... it was just so bad that i was about to drop it few times due to extreme cringe,but that's just my opinion.

    Decent read, but beside single MC and few (like two, three tops) characters feels everything died in there. If you want something more emotionless then Warlock of the Magus World then this is for you. Very predictable content...

    PS: Went over 600 chaps but would not recommend it

    I'm not gonna leave a detailed review on this like I did on rebirth of the thief who ruled the world (decent read btw) but I just wanted to say that everything about this novel is top quality: the power scaling, the plot development, the characters, the romance (which wasn't forced in the slightest) and even just the unique abilities and laws the author has thought up. Zero complaints at all. The writing isnt as good as something like sss class suicide hunter which has God tier writing ut it still leaves pretty much nothing to be desired and really allows you to immerse yourself in the story. 100% give this a read and with 3 chapters releasing (pretty much) every day, it will give you something to look forward to each day

      Dude, after reading your comment, I looked at the comments on webnovel and you're really right. I don't know why no one understands that dying can really have an impact on a person and impair their mental state. So he's dead, okay? It's only natural that he's obsessed with power. What's weird is that the mcs in most of the other novels go with the "Oh yes, I've died before, whatever" attitude.
