so much talking and no actual progress you know the story is badly written when you start skipping most of the chapters or you are more excited seeing the time-skip lol
plus it been a lot of chapters and the name has nothing to do with the actual novel I guess it sounds like (Top Tier Providence, Secretly Cultivate for a Thousand Years)
but it actually makes the other one seem like gold compared to this sht
like in some chapter he had to go to some place (no spoilers) which involved walking on some kind of water
it took like 4 chapters to get to the point
because the author thought it's a good idea to show what the people around think before he walk then what the MC think then what the lake master think and then added a random dude who took it as challenge to walk more then him even tho he don't even know him they just nodded to each other!!!
all that happened and he was still talking to himself not walking and chapters still going sigh
and this novel is all about "face slapping" because he hides his level for no reason just to waste his master pills and efforts to help him breakthrough stages he broke through decades ago
reading the Providence one was relaxing but thanks to this one my peace is ruined imma go back to read sht again lol
it might sound like I'm btchin well, sorry Ig I just had high expectations for this one

What you reale expect of a MC that his talent it's average(average in the sense that average in one of the best forces of that world, in the rest he is good at cultivation and exceed everyone only in temperament) to do, you know that he its extremely calm, in the novel sometimes he is referred as "calm as as lake or sea" but that shit is wrong, he is calm and firm as a f#cking plain of concrete and steel, it's literally the ideal of the author of man with a perfect calm personality. You really expect him showing of for nothing, made more enemies for his astonishing progress, build a harem and face slap everywhere? He only do his best as he can and don't want going around the world that was filled with war and death , he without wanting gained the hatred of 3 big forces, the dragon clan for marrying their best talent, the human heavenly race for acquiring the right to obtain their herency and the demons... because his political marriage with their enemy the dragon that made a alliance between dragons and kunlun mountains, the man had facts that he not necessarily need to leave and face danger, he only want upgrade his foundation to became immortal, and later he can travel more in search of better dao places. His gains of face dangers in search for what? Resources? He had to much resources? Treasure? He cant even use all of his treasure because they are of the system and can say where he find out, maybe the experience of facing more opponent, but it's not really that important later because he find something that made the gap

6 I'm really mad that at some point you can say that the mc it avoid everything that can be avoided, the mc can at least say to his master somethings, the relationship with its master it's like father-son, but the mc really cant say something to the old man like " I find a epiphany and advance in cultivation", no he literally hide 1-2 realm of power and win free hate, it's like he can say that he found more easily to cultivate of his super astonishing temperament, a temperament flawless reaching the level of immortal 3 realms lower, and to the only known realms are, 1 qi gathering or whatever ,2 foundation establishment,3 golden core,4 essence whatever,5 avoid tempering,6 immortal human.
That shit everyone can pass like true but he doesn't.
7 To my think, its a realistic novel, nothing like " sudden gain of power and advance during a battle because I'm the plot armor bitch" or " I made a lot a super powerful powerhouses but I think that I can fool them and only send me men of the same level or slight superior of my real power and win without making them send their top power only for my and let me grow" the man know that if his enemy send him spies, far powerful that him outside of his mountain, inside the sect and watch him even for 50 to him go outside the mountain and the spies suddenly disappear but he got unharmed, what do you think can happen? He can outsmart everyone?

The novel it's good to read with the mindset of " this shit is not the best of the best, but can help to see and think what a realistic and somewhat perfect man(in temperament/mindset)who only want to be powerfull and live in peace do in face of the cultivation world"
