    Firstly I need to say, I love you eve. I love your style, I love chaos heir and I really tried to love this shit but unfortunately I can't. If there is one thing I hate above all it's hypocrites and this novel is just the story of a massive hypocrite of a douchebag villain's rise to power.

    So I'll first address those guys who say I don't understand the MC is meant to be a cold ruthless guy on his path to vengeance and power. This has been done many times, sometimes well and sometimes not and I'll use my best example the MC of supreme Magus. This is a guy who is ruthless, has suffered, has no conscience and no faith on humanity most of the time. But still he has some things he aims to protect. He responds swiftly to violence but almost never instigate them and will rather keep his secrets better instead of killing all witness later.
    Now we got Noah... A douchebag before he died and got reincarnated, he gets to live with his mom and she gets f#cked so he is pissed and now seeks revenge. Some will say he is in the right but noo. This dude complains all the time that the strong oppress him but he always acts worst. He lives for power only (which makes him incredibly dull for one), he is cynical and bland and will kill anyone if they on his way or not so long as he can. He once just straight up went into a cave to test his strength and saw 2 guys who split from their group and he like "perfect training dummies!". And after this goes back to complaining about how the world is messed up and unfair to him.

    Basically of you looking for a badass cold MC who is still the hero you reading the wrong novel. This is the story of the villain, it's Hitler's youth, Darth Vader rise, freeza's teen years and I can't stop myself from hoping he gets bombed, blasted or murdered and resurrected several more times by the real hero

      Well dude I guess you don't know what the real world is like. Please don't get my words wrong because I'm not arguing here that all the things mc has done are justified. I thought what you want is a mc who's probably stupidly well-intentioned and heroic, who continues to get in trouble trying to help all the people he sees by walking around in his shiny armor. If you want a mc like this just go ahead there are lots of them around. However, just because you don't like mc's character and he's a bad human , you can't say the story is garbage. The story is beautifully crafted and gripping. The fact that mc is a bad guy does not change this fact. If you're looking for a prince on a white horse, you shouldn't be here because it was clear from the start that mc was a really bad man.
