Since ascension WW became someone like Felix from Supremacy Games when he became a unigin.
Like remember in LD he was special, he was a character worthy to be the mc but right now even Heavenly book would make a better mc, he seems special, no he is special and if the mc is just like any other character then what's the point.
He doesn't have any special characteristics to him other than just his alternate self being crazy powerful which doesn't even matter 99.9% of time, every side characters seems more special than WW now. Furthermore his nothingness power(which according to him is his ultimate trum card) is being used in every battle against any wuss of a character. Wheres the hype? Wheres the powers that makes him special?
Yeah you can say he is Dao overlord or whatever but that perk or advantage only works against non important characters to made him look smart like some minister from a random faction. But this was something that was supposed to make him near impossible to beat in planning catagory, but no everyone is outsmarting him most of the time.
And let me tell you, if in every battle of wit you had to resort to your contingency plans then you'r plan was not that good to begin with, not when you have title that was supposed to mean you are crazy good at that certain department.
This is the reasons there's a term like fullproof planning.
And yeah i also know these are old characters with immense wisdom but my prior statement negates this argument from being made.

This novel goes downhill after the emperor battle, after that the strength of the mc stagnates for hundreds of chapters and he basically becomes more of a behind the scene mc. there is too much info dump and not enough exciting mc fight since he is semi-invincible, all his competitors improve their strength but his strength remains the same and even regresses for couple chapters because of his mistake. Normally I'm happy mc is somewhat powerful but it doesn't even feel that exciting since he is so restricted from true heavenly dao. The mc spends hundreds of chapters struggling and breaking through a very difficult realm that is said few can achieve but next chapters every dog can achieve that realm. The author is very good at undermining the achievement of mc right after he achieves something good, every time you feel like mc is finally becoming op or badass the author Immediately introduces an enemy way out of his league or shows how his way stronger enemies are plotting his downfall. Like damn let us experience how op mc is why do you Immediately bring the fact that mc is still trash? Nearly every time mc gets more powerful, author or the mc himself undermines his achievement. Reading that for 1000 chapters was really annoying.

The novel is mid, even a dog can become almost as strong as mc since it's ''uLtiMaTe gLoRiOuS eRa'', mc works his ass off to become powerful but a random off-screen character from chapter 70 can become almost as strong as him. The author doesn't even give you an explanation why she is so powerful, you just have to accept the fact that a random unimportant fart from a tiny world can compete with all the geniuses from mc's world and defeat them. Mind you author has fleshed out the geniuses from mc's world for many chapters and gave them important backstories and goals but now you tell me a dung from 700 chapters ago suddenly is more powerful than them and can pose a threat to mc? It's even worse considering the fact that the dung is introduced to be a ''worthy adversary'' and rival to mc, but how tf is she worthy? There are many geniuses from mc's world that have better motives, backstories, goals and stories that deserve more to be a rival to mc but the author decided that a random piss bread from a tiny world 700 chapters ago is now suddenly a better candidate than all of them. It breaks the logic of the story and shows authors incompetence
