Legion is the only author until now that I've seen giving this much depth and personality to such a thing as babies. And I LOVE It. It's always so entertaining. I remember loving this right from the first few chapters of Supreme Magus where Lith went through his rebirth and lived as a baby for a while.. <3

I come back to this novel every six months, and frankly, I’m tired of how little happens in the story during that time. There are just more and more side characters, time moves slower than real life, and the same family scenes keep repeating. Is this some kind of therapy for the author?

Worse, he doesn’t seem to plan any time skips-instead, he keeps dragging in one-year-old kids. Are there six now, or seven?

I used to love the magic system because it felt, in a way, scientifically grounded. But the further it goes, the less I understand these overly detailed battle scenes. In this genre, power progression is key—yet here, it feels like it’s been stagnant for about two years.

What’s the point of his new void magic if he never uses it? Or the new tower floors? Or that character’s mother returning? Or his final "purple core"? Is all of this just going to matter in the last chapter?

I used to eagerly await new chapters, but now, checking in every six months is perfect. I don’t even need to refresh my memory because nothing important ever happens.

Despite all its flaws, the author somehow keeps me interested. The world remains richly detailed, and the characters are well-written. At this point, I don’t even care about Solus anymore—I’d much rather see what happens with the Master. The way he’s being contrasted with the protagonist—how similar they are, yet how differently they’ve chosen to act-is far more compelling.

I made this account only to express the deep rage on this crap novel.
Many useless arcs (fillers), every battle for mc is near death experience with blood sweat and çoçks sucked balls deep, which happens regardless the power ups he received previously. Every time he slays major/minor boss, loot gets stolen/devided/redistributed, mc sucks twice at this point. The novel makes you furious all the time. 0/10, 0/100, 0/1000.

lol its indeed an infuriating novel. One side author writes scenes (or whole arcs) for fans, meanwhile he kills the one guy who was the favorite character of every reader. And then the Thrud arc was... realistically horrific. And then the novel went down real bad, atm he's just milking it cuz its his money bag.

the novel's base world system and power system is REALLY good, so is the story, but then there's the above elements I just mentioned that makes it not readable anymore after somewhere around chapter 2500.

I can see your point but, If you read two chapters a day of this for 7 years it becomes your supplement and it's enjoyable most of the time for me. Although I admit I could never binge read this again from the begining for the same reasons you and others also feel...
Sometimes it is sooo infuritating. Even the way how he writes, has always the same pattern so that as well is infuriating. evil 14 But 12 It also has really wholesome moments. And I dont feel it's repetitive. I feel the progression of the plot. Even if there's no clear goal as there is in other novels, I feel each arc revealing new details about the world and the slight glimpses of the endpoint that keep making me want to come back. And the slice of life chaps are the best out there, for me, at least.
Also the babies are the cutest very-shy

I completely agree with you, there are plenty things that lack in other novels, like: proper character description, side character developments, arcs of peace and family, geographical and political settings, simple but very understandable power gradation.
Many novels lack most of it.
Which makes me even more furious, because it has all of that, and yet MC gets heavily nerfed and underbuffed.

Yeah. The author sucks a little at making interesting fighting scenes. But excels at the rest.

Has any of the main plot points been resolved yet I’ve stopped at 2600+ when it came out and decided to try and wait until completion but dang dude it’s getting crazy.

Define the main plot point. As far as i am aware, the main plot point has been the daily life of Lith and his family for a quite a while, with occasional threat and Meln popping out just to keep them, and us, awake.

So what I can take from this is that it's useless to read since there are 1000 filler chapters.

Pretty much. There are some good chapters occasionally, but the pace is terrible and most of it is slice of life. If you don't like slice of life, you shouldn't read it after ~1700

        main plot point:
        1. Lith advancing in his core -> Guardian/White Core.
        2. Solus completely healing
        3. oh god damn let the children grow up, let him tell Valeron II about the truth, rn he's too young to take the blow, though he's already intelligent enough to understand. We need a time skip.

        I'd say thats about it.

Author really loves milking readers for paid chapters, thats really all this novel is about especially 3000+ chapters. Becuase its literally a rule that there should be at least a 200-300 chapters gap between main events. Like, if you read it, you probably agree that if author wanted it, he could fit all the main events so far into 1000 chapters instead of 3500. And im not against some daily stuff chapters and fillers from time to time, im against pointless arcs, and there is way too many of them.

I reread it several times. In my opinion, this is actually the finished story by chapter 2358. And it's a beautiful story. But as for the next chapters, it's an awkward feeling when a great book is ruined. There are great chapters, but the whole thing turns into a pointless series.

I advise you to enjoy and read.

The author's work is realistic, well-constructed, the world is extremely detailed, the protagonist's overcoming of a life of pain, traumas, the fight against his inner demons, and a search for the life he always wanted but never had due to the abuse of a distorted father, is not a read for the weak, much less for those who like cute unicorns, only those who have had a difficult life will truly identify with the protagonist's story and understand the author's genius. In short, it is an excellent, mature novel, full of twists and turns just like real life, excellent for those who enjoy a good story. Strongly recommended for those who want a good, well-crafted story that makes you reflect on your pain and the injustices and struggles of everyday life.

I read more than 1000 chapters and I only have one thing to say: the biggest disappointment I've ever had was wasting hours reading this, don't make the same mistake, go read something else, it's not worth it (I stopped reading this a year ago and now I saw that it was in my favorites) bond

Strongly disagree. I've read about 1500 and lore is looking good and desirable, history almost have no cliché, and using them in a smart way. Main character is strong but he must work on his power and pay the price. Romantic tropes is not one dimensional. If you want to say that this title is bad I'm some way, you need to gather some good critique.

The story is good, perfect world building but you and I know the problem... a totally random woman, man, it doesn't even make sense, she dies with what? 100, 200 years? Man, I would accept that if it was anyone who wasn't a normal f#cking human, then this woman dies and the protagonist's infinite depression will return and I refuse to see Solus' work going down the drain because of the author, thanks but I threw it away anyway and I don't regret it. bond
