I really don't understand why this novel is in Nr. 1 in trending and popularity in webnovel.

Terrible, everyone's intellect is dumbed down to the point that common inferences can't be made, so you can't help but pull out your hair wondering why everyone and everything is so dumb. Your generic easily influenced teenager might like this novel, same goes for all the bots that keep upvoting it.

Y’all could have said so a couple months earlier, my brain cringed every-time the Mc “made” a decision… this author has no incline as to what character development is… like not even toddlers would make these decisions much less 16 - 19 year olds… like done even read the first chapter.

Read 300~ chapters and skimmed another 50 before loosing all hope

If this is among your first web novel junk fiction type of literature and having nothing to compare it to then liking it is excusable (was there myself). But best do yourself a favour and drop it and put your time in something more useful or at least go on royalroad and pick up something decent

Don’t waste your time on this, started out decent ish but turned into an absolute piece of crap.

Setting is typical hight school where dog eats dog for benefits type of shit

MC is bland af, hypocritical, righteous typo of crybaby that sometimes goes around sucking people off when the author feels like it

Other characters feels forced and unnatural- imagine some random dude or gal starts sticking to your group and after going thru think and thin in 20~ ch they are already part of the group and privy to all the cliche type of secrets
Rest of the characters don’t act as initially described and the author makes them act smarter only because of plot convenience (strong girl that doesn’t give a fvck about weaker extras turns into a wimpy bitch that has to be saved by MC just because the author felt like it)

Setting and world building- feels like the strongest part of this novel but at times the rules of the cultivation system are broken and bent for plot convenience and everybody is okay with that, not even question it

grammatical correctness and coherence is solid

TLDR?
If you are in for the vampire part then I would rather go read twilight wattpad fanfic than this because the MC is a vampire its not even trying to be edgy, so why waste non existing brain cells on this?
