    One of the best translated novels out there. The story isn't that complex but has decent world building and the ending explains history and it is quite good. The MC is also not idiot and there aren't face slapping things. The chapters with players are boring and can be skimmed after some time.

    It's a good read, even though I am greatly disappointed that
    , if you are get past this point unlike me - you'll like the story. Ah and also don't get offense over some biased views of the author, if you think he's being racist, nationalist, etc - try to ignore it - it's not over the top and somewhat bearable. Same for his weird analogies, jokes, comparison - if you don't find it funny - ignore it. Plot holes - ignore it. Players if you don't like them - try to ignore it ( very hard to ignore xd). Anyway - This is story maybe started as masterpiece but definitely couldn't keep it. Mc too overpowered, humor - meh. I don't really understand how people are able to reread it and some even more than once. You know what's a masterpiece? Harry Potter series, Tolkien series and Metro series (2033, 2034, 2035, MakMaster Great Bratan) I've reread it more than several times.

    1) One of the unique thing that will not be found in others novels is how author has shown unique


    2) One thing that I dislike the most about this novel is - when author introduced his biased view of countries. Although I know it's was gonna happen when Earth was introduced as MC previous place but it's still leave bad taste when we are reading such a great story plot & suddenly author introduced his biased views regarding his & other countries in novel.

    3) I hoped to have simple system. Too many skills & info was added on system panel which was difficult to remember. Wish that author had make it simple.

    4) Most funny moments are when MC shows his shameless side. It was fun to see how MC shit strier all the problems & situations.

    5) Translation quality was becoming worse as plot progress.

    I tried reading it. The beginning is interesting. Up to the desert part, it's relatively good, but... The story reminds me of the manhwa "The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor." There's a litRPG elements, but occasionally it doesn't matter, and it turns into fantasy. Here, it's more of a sci-fi setting, but the problem is similar. The author slowly builds the world, and it's going well. Then he suddenly remembers and introduces gamers with quests. Then, forget it, it's back to the world and everything feels real again. Probably the strangest web novel I've tried to read.

      I'd say you're missing out since a lot of people (including myself) list this novel as one of their favourites. Especially since you mention the desert part where the MC has only just begun to be a lot more free from constraints. At the very least try to read up to chapter 300 which concludes the entire Germinal arc and maybe continue reading past that as the space age is the most interesting and core part of the story.

      I also think it's quite odd to call this the "strangest" webnovel you've ever read. Webnovels about VR games are very common and as this story is almost a decade old there are also plenty of stories inspired by it where an NPC commands a bunch of players. These stories often have the term "Fourth Disaster" associated with it to describe the chaotic destructiveness of players.
