Su Yuan was reborn into a cultivation world, only to find that it was filled with hardships. No talent, no resources, no background.

Luckily, he activated a system and obtained some truly game-changing perks!

[Work Hard, Rest Hard]: You’re a master of balancing effort and relaxation. The longer you rest, the better your cultivation results.
While others are sweating it out in seclusion, Su Yuan is goofing off and roasting meat.

While others are studying profound Daoist techniques, Su Yuan is flipping through miscellaneous books.

While others are tempering their bodies, Su Yuan is watching folk dances.

While others are perfecting their skills, Su Yuan is practicing his fishing technique.

In short, Su Yuan has gone all in on the “lie-flat and cultivate” lifestyle and never looked back.

As for the system pushing him to become famous?

Whoever wants fame is a damn fool! Collapse

Most of the people don't check tags before reading a novel they only check the description and decide whether to read or not.

"Fast cultivation" tag doesn't fix a story if it's shit, the same as you cannot say water is clean next to "toxic water" sign with clean conscience

"Su Yuan was reborn into a cultivation world, only to find that it was filled with hardships. No talent, no resources, no background.
    Luckily, he activated a system."

What's with this kind of synopsis lately ? If your trash tier novel has a system to fix holes, say it properly . Why are the authors trying to sell the idea that having a system is 'barely enough' xD. It doesn't matter how many resources, talents or background you have, if you have a system you can sleep like a pig and be invincible in 2 years.

    The best of the bunch.
At first, I was hesitant because the description made it seem like one of those many "lowkey" novels where no matter how powerful the MC gets, the world bends over backwards with misunderstandings for him to somehow remain lowkey.
While the author may have intended that at first, the dynamics of having your cultivation progression be public like test scores in Asian countries quickly leads to MC becoming a powerhouse. This is good because we get the benefits of seeing a powerful MC in one of the major sects in this world, while also having an MC that is cautious and not likely to fall for schemes.
I was genuinely sad to have caught up with the translated chapters and actually took a chance with the MTL. I ended up finding out MTL has come a long way. So now I'm reading MTL.
Note, I'm not saying that this is a masterpiece or even novel concept. This is your generic golden-finger cultivation novel. Just that the story and progression itself makes you not want to stop reading.

Also, some may be hesitant because they think the system is one that rewards laziness. Turns out not to be the case. The system may be thought of as an accelerated learning/cultivation that hack that needs rest as a powerup mechanism. So, it ends up being the case that MC does the work but just waits to the last minute to do it.
Imagine having a test in two weeks. You relax and take your time until the night before the test. Then you activate your system cheat to learn everything for the test the night before. You still ended up having to study but with your cheat, it's actually smarter to wait until the last minute. So, it's literally Rest hard (rest a long time) Work hard (put a lot of effort in for a short spurt).

On this site. Just look at the bottom of the descption for this chapter (The links section) and you'll see a box that says "MTL * Gemini Flash"
Choose to either read this online, and/or download a copy for you to read even when offline.
Note not every novel has this option, but this none does.

The first chapters were good, but like every novel of this genre, it becomes increasingly stupid. I really don't recommend it. If you want to read similar novels, it's better not to read this one. yo_21

It’s likely too new or niche. If you guys are tired of generic “cultivation psycho grind” and want something satirical yet satisfying...maybe. Serious Poison testing will come later. Untill then~
