The dimensional rifts link the earth to the Xingwu continent. This is the dawn of the martial arts era!

I will be useless if I don’t practice martial arts? Don’t worry, I have a system that allows me to pick up attributes. When other people drop attributes during their training, I can pick them up secretly.

Huh? Did you just say that beating up people will make them drop attributes too? In that case…

You defeated a sword skill genius. He dropped Enlightenment×2, Sword Talent×1… You’ve picked them up. Your insights have improved and you’ve gained a beginner stage sword talent!

You defeated a blade skill talent. He dropped Blade Battle Technique×1, Malicious Blade Intent×1… You picked them up and learned a rare blade battle technique! You’ve also figured out Malicious Blade Intent and have become extremely fierce!

You defeated a physique talent. He dropped Physique Scripture×1, Holy-Blood Dominant Physique×1…

You picked them up and learned a new top-grade scripture! You are exceptionally lucky to have received the Holy-Blood Dominant Physique. It can change your physique completely and you earned a god-level title 'Endless Health'.

Someone killed a powerful star beast and dropped Spiritual Sight×1 and Blank Attribute×60… You picked them up secretly and receive a spiritual eye talent as well as 60 points to add to any of your current attributes!

You defeat many opponents in your life. You accidentally kill an innocent devil and split the universe into two when you’re practicing your blade at home. You burst the sun with your fist and the world is engulfed in darkness…

That’s when you realize… You’re invincible! Collapse

Only problem for me in this novel is that even the weakest female character can scare the MC into acting like a weak bish.

That's Wang Teng's mentality. He is still a youngster - I doubt he is even 25 yet. He's still a little boy in his thinking, very innocent in many ways. He doesn't even like to harm others, and only really becomes serious when he is witnessing villains harming innocents. Never likes to kill even those who provoke him - he klls bandits and others like that who are dangers to others, but almost never kills those that pick fights with him. He'd rather they try again so he could collect more experience.

Women? Wang "never going to get a girlfriend" Teng says his mother warned him that boys need to protect themselves when outside.
He doesn't mess around with women, establish a harem or anything like that. Frankly, he outgrows everyone close to him anyhow and has to move on.

He's a cheerful boy, always doing funny things. He reminds me a lot of the MC in "pocket hunting dimension", good in a fight but otherwise kinda dim witted who are bossed around by ladies.

Help me find. A typical short story about collecting “attributes”, where the hero, by erasing attributes, upgrades his skills or learns new ones, the main character has a wife from the Dragon clan and later in the book he will go with her to this clan. Where will he find a mentor who will teach him skills that require vital energy?

This novel gets worse as time goes on. What was the point of hiding the fact that he was a grandmaster and black smithing, runes and alchemy? He got the status so that he can use it as a shield so people won’t bother him. So why then did he start hiding that shield and pretending to be someone ordinary, and then complain about how the others look down on him?

He could’ve saved himself some trouble if he didn’t hide the fact that he was a triple grandmaster. But of course he won’t. Te reveal is saved for future face slapping. This author is obsessed with face slapping. It’s become annoying. Let’s see how long I’ll be able to read before dropping it again. It’s a decent concept but seriously……the execution could’ve been better

This novel started out as with the main character collecting bubbles and showing how fast he can cultivate just by being around strong people. Then it slowly became a novel where he, a main character who LOVES to show off, starts hiding his power…..for absolutely no reason. It’s a novel filled with face slapping. I dropped it for a while and picked it back up.

Now, once the mc leaves earth and goes to the great Qian empire, it just becomes a novel where everybody looks down on the mc and gets their face slapped. The mc is hiding his weak strength to make himself look weaker. I could understand if he was powerful and was trying to trap someone, or if he was trying to hide. However, that’s not it. He’s doing high key things to draw attention to himself while claiming he’s trying to be low key. I really don’t think this novel is worth reading, even if it’s your first novel, it sets the bar really really low.

No, there was quite a bit of face slapping when the MC was weak. However, after he leaves earth, he eventually joins an academy. Face slapping there, and some conflict. But after that, with the latest arcs, there isn't really much "face slapping"

The MC is known across the universe as a sage of all arts, as a master of all elements (except dark which he conceals), known for cleansing entire planets with his light element, slaughtering armies with his formations, and helping to kill demon gods in battle. Everyone regards the OP MC as mysterious and inscrutable, with a very frustrating personality. He's cheeky, takes nothing seriously, and can seemingly do anything. Everything he does is outrageous and over the top - the author is using that as the comedic base now.

The plot diverges from Swallowed Star pretty soon after he leaves earth and is called away from the academy he joins. It becomes unique, and I'm enjoying it a lot in the mtl.

There's also not hardly any time-skip in this novel. The MC is still in his early twenties at this point in the mtl, only a couple years older than when he left earth.

Well just because you don't like it, there's no reason to call it trash right?
The work speaks it for itself. It has over 2600 chapters and is still ongoing....pretty sure if there were no people to appreciate it, then the author wouldn't be bored enough to push out more chapters.

You feel like it's trash, that's fine atleast give it a good reason why u think it's trash...rather than talking shit about a free novel on a pirated site...smh sigh

What I faking hate about most modern cultivation novel is they keep downplaying technology like wtf? Seriously? Technological products are useless on other worlds because what? What kind of bullshit is that? They always make it seem like technology is inferior to magic. Clearly, most author are not aware of Clarke's third law: "Any sufficiently advanced technology are indistinguishable from magic". 'Oh cultivators are fast, what can technology do to it?' then faking rain fire from above!! Yeah, magic is cool, but obliterating a whole planet to smithereens using orbital bomb is way cooler! Smh, 1 space fleet of any faction in star wars are enough to obliterate that Xingwu continent that they are so proud of than their own civilization (Earth).

Dude you seem way too confident talking shit about something you have no clue about.

Clarke's third law is grossly misunderstood. It makes it seem like we have a magic vs technology/science situation. We don't have such a situation. It is a common misconception and novel trope.

Technology is the physical application of knowledge.

The scientific method is a method with which we can understand the world around us. This happens by constantly observing a phenomenon repeatedly while adjusting parameters slightly each time. Then we take those observations and draw conclusions based on them.
There are two important points here observation and drawing conclusions. Your observation methods limit how well and extensively you can observe the world (magic has a clear advantage over this). Drawing conclusions means that there is a heavy personal bias on scientific findings. Although peer reviews partially remedy personal bias, they don't remedy geographical and time period-based bias. During the history of science, it was common to reject the findings/theory of a scientist due to preconceived ideas. Magic ensures that geographical and environmental biases are going to be different compared to ours.

Ultimately, the whole magic vs technology/science trope is stupid because magic doesn't oppose technology/science. Magic is more akin to physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics together but as a different scientific subject. Magic technology exists (in regard to novels). It is the object manufactured due to magic (imagine wands, weapons with special abilities, formations/rituals, etc). Magic theory/knowledge is the corresponding science part.

Besides all that, too many authors ignore the possibility of different worlds/universes having different natural laws. Even if you have similar laws, it was too easy for some kind of constant to have a slightly different value. This is without taking into account the extra laws that gave birth to magic.
