It's been over a thousand Chapters since he became a Bright Violet Core Awakened.

    Has he reached White Core?

Or has he at least reached a combat Prowess of a White Core?

The Wiki is practically never updated so i have came here to ask.

I stopped around chapter 1700. Back then I thought that since the story’s progression was slow and I couldn’t handle the cliffhangers, I’d let it marinate and come when it’s done. Now I can’t even describe my reaction to this. sigh

Oh, and here I am again, reading everything that’s piled up over the last six months.
Honestly, it’s time to accept that this entire novel is magical slice-of-life. That the first words of yet another child will be described in as much detail as the course of a tense battle. By the way, all the past battles were essentially filler and reminded me of the weekly boss fight in Power Rangers. Orpal is scheming again, and the heroes still can’t find him, and this could go on indefinitely.

We’ve delved very, very deeply into the topic of human evolution, but I no longer see any cultivation advantages for the main character in it. Maybe in another 1,000 chapters he’ll finally get a white core, but that’s not certain.

In the end, everything has stayed the same:

The unresolved issue with Lit's life force.

The unresolved issue with Solus's life force.

    Orpal is still alive.

    The Master remains Schrödinger's friend.

The main character is still studying his void magic (I think he used it in one battle, but the description was so vague that I couldn't tell the difference from regular magic).

A new enemy in the form of a sentient Mage Tower has been announced, but the fight probably won’t happen until late 2026 at best.

They're still teasing the possibility of intimacy between Solus and Lit, but Twitter-compliant romance and family psychologists won't allow polygamy.

Most likely, what’s next is a description of Suryn's first word. Even more deep dives into human evolution and healing Rayla and Garrick.

Honestly, at this point, I'm not sure what's left to explore - the characters haven’t even had their urologist appointment described yet.

Lol 'Magical Slice of Life'? Let me make a small correction, we should remove the slice as the story practically shows whole of Lith's life from birth to wherever he is now. So literally not a slice of life, but his whole life itself. Its toooooo much content, author just keeps on going about Lith's on going life, and as we all know, no one's life problems ever end with a 'happily ever after', and the author also doesnt care to make it such.

I paused when he returned to the
to stack up. That event was months after his 19th (early 2ks chapter, i think). It's now over 4k chapters, how old is he now? Is he close to white core?

Idk about white core, but at least Thrud is dead. Oh and Thrud's battle was the last important battle, after that it feels forced.

      Debatable.
Phloria - childish devotion to duty.
Quylla - Being the bestest mage with the coolest robe.
Faluel - clan glory and self gratification to the divine degree.
And that's from the top contenders from the shipping flotilla sunk long ago.
Plus it's magical medieval times - there's not much else to do during slow seasons...

It hit. I think I got tired by 2.3k... Which warrior can get to four? Srsly, Legion20 has made it too long. How many crises has the unhappy mc saved by now? Did he get to play lazy guardian? Or maybe now the crisis is of a higher magnitude than mere guardians. I feel like the first thousand were fine, if I remember right... but after that... everything seemed to stretch to get to the next thousand. I can't believe I once thought the novel will be 2k, I encouraged the author by the 500th... What have I done? I was just starting my DAO journey back in the day. I remember being there on the 100th... How many years has it been since?

A similar story here... Stopped at around 2300, the end of Thrud's arc, basically.
Also, spoiler alert, according to some fellow daoists, he's not even a Guardian now at 4000+ lmfao

I know Im going to be downwoted for saying this, but man's gotta be honest.
Overall its a good novel with good world building engageing fights and characters but there is one thing about this novel that just drives me off. Characters and their approach to relationships is realistic (in modern way kinda) and modern. Characters are either acting as "romance sluts" really I cant think about a better way to describe that, or were actually just slepping around. And that made me take a break from this novel.

To sum up, alright novel, and if you have a modern approach and view of relationships you wont be bothered probably. (Also, there a lot of internal thought about how mc feels xd)

Yep. There's nothing modern about the "modern approach andview of relationships"... Rather than modern (as in new or progressive), I would call it the degenerate approach and view of relationships. What relationship is there if you sleep around? For me, the answer is: what relationship? If there's no value, it is just for fun, then the traditional value and meaning of a relationship does not apply. And it was not a culture of openness in this story, for else there would be no marriage or couples, so I agree that this modern artifact of rot has no place in this novel. It just makes it feel dirty and makes your day bleaker. People love to dress up ugly things behind fancy words, in truth, these new shiny relationship model is a rather sudden change in our culture, one that in my opinion, goes against romance and contributes to the instability of families. Regardless my opinions, one thing is unrefutable: we should call things what they are. A slut is a slut. A modern relationship view, is in truth the discarding of "traditional" relationship models. And calling something dirty or bleak is not wrong or bad. Why would ever expressing how you feel in a harmless way though a screen text be bad in any way? Shouldn't even bother to say you care not for the downvotes, we should all say as we think and debate it later if we do not agree. This world is nuts: we have politicians deciding on censorship because what one says might not be appropriate. Misinformation they may call it. Or rudeness. In truth, the minorities are trying to make you shut up, so none else knows they are not alone.

Action Thriller Fantasy Novel that turned into Slice of life novel.
Individually both parts are good, but the shift of genres/focus is understandably something that many people don’t like.
Basically mc strives to be stronger and becomes stronger until he’s established himself in the world and there isn’t much of a reason for people to antagonize him since he’s strong and anything worth stealing has been kept a secret by the mc. The only major villain that remains is a guy with a grudge but he’s too weak and is training to get strong enough to beat mc. Meanwhile author is showing MC’s daily life. (Unless too many of mc’s secrets get exposed, then there can be other villains/ppl trying to rob/beat him)
I think somewhere between 1500-2500 chapters is majorly action/thriller part, then slice of life starts. But I don’t remember at this point.
    Also,
The characters are realistic with depth, there’s a lot of worldbuilding too, the magic system is pretty complex, the action and wholesome moments are nice as well. But they can feel stretched out at times.
