The MC ignores trouble caused by others as long as it doesn’t affect him. However, even after discovering a group of villains who could threaten him, he does nothing to stop them. Later, when they attack him, he becomes consumed by rage and distrusts all of humanity. Is there something wrong with him? If he were a normal person, it might be understandable—just naive. But as a transmigrator, his mental age should be much more mature.

Another doomsday apocalyptic novel.... Gotta help the Junior brothers by reading this accursed scroll.

Fellow daoists, I am disappointed; this work had great potential, especially because of the unique concepts involved. But, it isn't used very well at all; the main character isn't even the biggest problem, how the world is behaving after literally experiencing endless world-ending rules is. You're telling me that after half the planet has been wiped out, blood viruses, living dead, devouring fog and monsters, we still have the energy to fight each other, investigate the main character, and discriminate against other countries? Sometimes, fellow daoists, it feels as though nothing has changed; Sakura County this, Bla bla Empire that.

Like, aren't we supposed to be struggling?

Now, onto the problems with the main character; he's smart, but not with how he uses his power. He has a book that can literally warp reality in any way he desires, but doesn't get creative at all.

A smart main character would utilize past life knowledge to create useful abilities, you know what he did? He made a shadow of himself, a shelter, and a gun that fires different types of explosive rounds.

Ch 305
Original and intriguing premise let's you wonder what kind of challenge will come next. Also the low level Supernatural abilities are nice to read about.

Sadly the author is stupid and doesn't understand basic physics. This breaks immersion often.

MC naturally is not smarter than the author. He's quite asocial and lives like a hermit with no real friends or family.

Characters and plot are the weak parts.
