    Cultivation levels are kinda weird with first level, second level, third and so on being named but they are just the typical qi gathering, foundation establishment and golden core.

    I don't think that's a spoiler, even though it was mentioned later on I think.

    I guess it may be on purpose, to show that the story doesn't care that much about cultivation levels.

    I like that early on female cultivators aren't everywhere. Outside of the part of the sect that only has women, no female disciples are mentioned
    .

    More women show up later on though.


    I am enjoying myself even though it's not that deep.

        Rites must be observed!

        My issue with having too many women is that they exist as waifu bait or harem bait. If the women are presented as strong characters without a focus on sex appeal I'm quite fine.

        I also like when stories stick to their gimmick. He has a harem of techniques so no need to play with real women. This also matches the personality we're presented with.

    While undeniably funny, the novel doesnt seek to go beyond using it's main theme. 7.5/10, a fun, lighthearted read, worth sinking a couple hours into if you've got nothing better.

      I disagree. The concept is the best part but the writing has all of the common problems, just at a lesser severity than you should expect.

    #panic# MTL is not in order, chapters ending mid chapter, and starting mid chapters, from chapter 21, it jumps to 26, then 22, then 27, then 24. No order, different novel parts. If possible, please solve this issue. Thank you.

      It's in order, the numbers are jumbled because the chapters sometimes span multiple chapters in the mtl. For instance, 26 after 21 is indeed 26 from the novel but would fall after 21 in the mtl. Why this is the case, I can't say.

    My cultivation foundation was slightly damaged, and troubled by the heart demon this novel imposed and with cultivation being affected, I may go into seclusion but before I do, I shall impart some minor insights gained from this novel:

    It's a mid story and somewhat funny, the idea of cultivation technique affection is interesting but protagonist loses his head as long as he gets to increase it, it's funny but no notable parts so far, however you can genuinely pass time quite well reading this, just turn of your brain. 3/5.
