So far, after 51 chapters I found this author so stupid. Why are you rushing the MC with this train? You dont even allow him absorbing appliances and machinery throughout his rides. Why dont let him absorb every cars and military devices first and build up his stats. Youre not maximizing his ability and making him weak and balance and as an mc your not suppose to be balance. Dont just keep on jumping from one station after another.

In this chapter MC has no idea about the loot from this errie creature despite killing a few now due so this author keep on rushing to jump stations without maximizing the gains

It's bad.I have very low standards when it comes to apocalypse Novels, but this can't even satisfy that. (Ch. 36)

Not only does he add a minor to his harem, he takes advantage of her sleeping

It’s always a pleasant surprise when the cover and synopsis actually make sense and remain relevant to the overall plot.

After catching up with the latest chapters, I can confidently say I never expected train-themed web novels to be this entertaining—or even to exist at all. I highly recommend giving it a try.

It's amazing, as Simple as that.

History has potential...

But damn, how much has been done to create a cheat ability character... And as opposed to using stupidity. Look, I got an ability from the hair dryer! So when we find a field of broken military vehicles, we will successfully forget about their existence, well, you never know...

And sometimes some chapters are incomplete, keep that in mind. (although it adds to the madness)

110% love the novel, but damn the TL can be much better.
1. Inconsistent translation of the names, organizations, etc. The translator clearly use ChatGPT with little-to-no manual edit. But i'm not complaining since it's free after all.
2. Some part of the story in a chapter is MISSING, causing massive confusion. Can be confirmed by searching and reading the raw online. It's the same even when reading it directly at the TL website.

TLDR: Better than expected, with classic chinese webnovels issues. Readable.

As said above it was actually better than first expected. (Reviewed around chapters 230)

Story is set in the future (2069) so expect a bit of SF tech sometimes.

The story is more about heavy survival always being in tense situations with trying to use MC's power when there is some short downtime, so yes author use the constant tension to make MC's power up slower. People who complains about MC not using his powers enough simply didnt read it correctly, like MC's takes Hours to use it on complex/big thing with no interruption or he needs to restart, so when he see stuff and he knows danger is 1 hour away, of course he's gonna skip it instead of being "UGUGU POWER". It's also stated that he scans about everything he can multiple times (and he can't register a scan of things that are too damaged) which is why as the story progress you start seeing him use his creation power part more and more often.

Of course, i'm not saying author makes perfect sense in the use cases of his power, there is quite a few times where it was stupid and clearly intended to delay his progress but it's not as unjustified as some people are saying at least.

Then around chapters 220 or so, there is some weird Arc where MC's starts acting differently and the whole arc even have some wasted chapters on temporary characters doing (Honestly this arc was so bad that it pushed me to take a breaks and write this review)

Translation is not that bad but sometimes wonky, and changes a lot around the Big bro / big sister words or use the chinese pinyin, felt like the quality dropped a bit around chapter 200 or so with also some missing chapters part (in the middle of chapter) starting from that part (you'll easily realize it as the scenes feels cut / swapping with 0 sense)

One big issue/trigger warning is MC/Author weird stance/actions towards/for women, its both inconsistent and sad. You'll find the classic chinese sauce, sexualized 15-16 girl, multiple women for one man with 0 reasons (there is even one who is like 'dont worry i slept with you, so i'm not gonna sleep with other men now' but no mention of MC sleeping with other women meanwhile though), of course women instantly fall/throw themselves for/at MC because... who knows why. As far as i read he has

Mention special to MC who very early of course gets a genius 15/16 kid hacker (also very tech knowledgeable ofc) who of course hacked some gouvernment protected shit (lol) and have some protected info... The whole hacker thing is even more stupid when you know her backstory later on lol. People really need to stop with this trope of genius kid hacker being able to get into every system easily...

It's actually pretty good . I'm almost at chapter 200 and will soon stop to let chapters stack before continuing.

World where an apocalypse suddenly happened and lawlessness is everywhere. Certain people develop Abilities and try to escape certain Dark Zones where truly abominable monsters lurk.
