Ryan «Quicksave» Romano is an eccentric adventurer with a strange power: he can create a save-point in time and redo his life whenever he dies. Arriving in New Rome, the glitzy capital of sin of a rebuilding Europe, he finds the city torn between mega-corporations, sponsored heroes, superpowered criminals, and true monsters. It’s a time of chaos, where potions can grant the power to rule the world and dangers lurk everywhere.

Ryan only sees different routes; and from Hero to Villain, he has to try them all. Only then will he achieve his perfect ending… no matter how many loops it takes. Collapse

Of the best stories you may ever read. The author made an amazing job at breathing life into the story and its characters. The main plotline is on the top 5% of all you might've ever read. It is possible to find faults, if you search for them, but this is an impressive work for a human if you ask me. If you are searching for a good read, you will regret skipping this one hidden gem.

This novel's characters and conflicts are superb. Both in concept and in execution.

The writing is snappy, without any typos, grammatical errors, or odd sentences and the humour is often dark and biting; often based in the main character's nihilism as a person who believes that he will forever be alone, for whom death has lost all meaning and who's craving for entertainment more often than not.

Which doesn't make him a 'murder-hobo'... More often than not. He can also be very sympathetic and is kind at the core, making it his central mission to ensure the 'perfect ending' for each and every person who he's become attached to — Willing to repeat the same day for years and years, just to fulfill the wishes of a person to whom, after all is done, he'll be nothing but a stranger.

    A true 10/10.

Give it a shot. It might not be your cup of tea, but it's here, it's free, it's complete and it's already made several people, who all were skeptical when I shared it with them, devour it within a week.

Well I tried giving it a read but non of the jokes made me laugh, so I guess I’m just not in the mood currently to read this book. It seems pretty good so I’ll definitely give this a try in the future when I’m in the mood for comedy.
