It is progressing very slowly I guess we are not even halfway through the novel. There will be at least 2000 chapters. MC op yes it can be counted but this is a normal novel dont expect anything superhuman or extraterrestrial but MC is definitely talented.

I see i am not the only one. Precisely my thoughts. You can try watching Major(anime). It gave me the same feelings as that novel.

If you mean: if it has romance then yes. It is quite decent as well but it is not the focus.

If you are referring to me saying: 'It gave me the same feelings' then no. One is wholesome and the other is(The Greatest Of All Time) a portrayal of what happens when priorities conflict.

The MC Jake is quite OP in hitting the ball, to the point of carrying most teams hitting averages. Hope that helps.

This isn’t my usual cup of tea, but I really love this novel. Hesitated for a long time with my decision on whether or not to read this and I’m glad that I did. Everything from the characters interactions/emotions to the author’s knowledge of baseball is superb and I could really feel a connection. Had me both tear up and feel genuinely happy on several occasions. As mentioned in several other reviews, the MC’s growth in just about every aspect is written so well and is actually believable. If I did have one complaint though, it’d have to be about the pacing. Almost 900 chapters now and not even a year has gone by. Still a great read however and would easily recommend.
