Super Detective in the Fictional World影视世界当神探

Im not really a fan of this novel. It's not so bad but its not for me, and I feel like I misunderstood what this would even read like. I only got around 35 chapters in and I've dropped it as it's been pretty boring and I thought it would be more realistic, but come to find out the MC is a homicidal maniac. I stg this guy unjustly killed like 8 people already. Look back to his first gunfight, where I've just dropped this and he viciously executed multiple incapacitated criminals. That's super illegal but it's just brushed aside and I feel like I got the tone of the novel from that. I guess that's where the "ruthless" I see in the reviews come from but a police officer should serve the people not be a murderer

I found this one surprisingly good. Normally, I don't enjoy Parody novels since it seems like the Author tries to force the MC into the plot or just completely destroy the significance of the original MC. This one actually connects multiple plots in a way that they would legitimately make sense.

There is also a lot of movie parodies in this. It's to the point where what you think is an original plot is actually some lesser known movie that released in 2006 or something. It could also be a movie from a completely different country that you wouldn't have heard of normally. I actually really like this since it feels great whenever you get a reference that most people probably wouldn't(it also is good for recommending films to watch).

Another thing I like is the Harem in this. Whether Harem is your thing or not I like the fact that, from what I have read, the Harem members seem to be all original characters. It could be I just don't know what movie they are from yet, but at least it isn't doing the normal novel thing where people like Natasha Romanoff are instantly falling for the MC.

Chinese novel without the problems that make you want to circumcise yourself with a spoon when reading. No "young masters" who oppose the MC, no things like "Break your arms yourself and I'll consider letting you live." It is evident that the author is Chinese but he clearly has Idea of ​​the American culture in which all this this universe is inspired, and it does it well, but maintaining its own style that makes it evident that it is a Chinese novel. It's a great read and It hardly has any clichés typical of its genre, just to give you an idea, the female protagonist companion is not f#cking useless, yes, the MC takes care of her and accompanies her until she becomes strong, But it is never dead weight. Also the story is great developed despite the fact that the author mixes an incredible amount of movies, television series and many other things in his story. Everything unfolds smoothly and with hardly any problems and when the Batman arc started it was wonderful, it totally grabs you. I recommend this if you want a Chinese novel that brings you something new and fun, good luck and good reading

I'm on chapter 383 right now. However, according to the chapters I've read so far, this novel should be called Justice System, instead of Super Detective System, since there is no super smart case solving procedure as you would expect from a novel about a detective.

So far I haven't seen Luke acting as you would expect from a super detective. When I started reading the novel, I was expecting something more like sherlock holmes.

Sure he solves cases, but basically he doesn't use "detective skills".

Also, the system doesn't reward him for solving cases as a detective, it rewards him for doing justice, whenever he stops any crime, no matter what kind, a robbery, when Luke gives tickets to a wrongly parked car, when he intervenes in fights or arguments and, of course, when he solves cases....

So more than a detective system, it's more like a justice system, since I don't see that the MC has become a detective at all... I'm not sure I explained my point well enough.

Still, I enjoyed the novel. so I have no complaints, this comment is not a complaint, it's just me, giving my opinion on how I feel the title of the novel is not correct or gives false information about what the novel is about....
