        bro how do u get that from what i said, what i mean is that in every single interaction with a humanoid species he becomes so submissive and acts like he has no qualms about being their hardworking dog
        like his feet got cut off and he got kidnapped and he reacted with oh okay and had zero thoughs about revenge and zero anger and also he couldve just killed them at one point which wouldve happened if they were monsters but nope since they were humanoid the mc is an alt girl that likes to take it from the back and the front

      Anthony doesn't really care what happens to himself, he's broken in that aspect because he can't seem to acknowledge when bad things happens to himself. It's literally his whole backstory from his previous human life. He only cares about what happens to his family which is the Colony and his pets. I guess you didn't make it far enough into the story to the part where the grand priest from the Church of the Path f#cks with Anthony's family. Also Anthony realizes that the Colony can't afford to start an all-out war with the old sapient races while dealing with their current war and increasingly brutal waves that are occurring more and more frequently. So unless those old sapient races decide to go for the killing blow and erase the Colony, then Anthony isn't going to start slaughtering all of them. Though he has made a showing of his strength on two separate occasions when they mess with his family. But wiith the way the story is currently going as of chapter 1770, Anthony and the Colony are becoming too powerful for the old sapient races to f#ck with them. The Legion might decide to go for the kill soon, but that remains to be seen.

    It was a bit hard to follow in initial chapters, took a break couple of times, but it became soooo good. I don't remember when. If you wanna pick it up, do so, you won't regret.

    Massive world building, amazing characters, fast action. One of my favorites. The best thing I did since I found this website is reading this book.

        i think its self-expectations right? personal opinion at least but if you develop this standard/read novels you think are good, then, compare other novels in quality, they obviously wont be the same and that just affects your reading experience

              Well, the thing was, I had a bit of bad luck that day and I read quite a few edgy comments (u know like those whining kids that want some character to die when it's clear we will see development on that character later), and then saw urs I was like...                 Fair enough, a lot of these people on this site need to grow up. It’s like they’ve only ever read trashy web-novels with static, low effort characters. Do they not read enough actual books? Character development is an extremely common literary tool….

                  well... internet's the place where u can give and take insults without actually affecting anything real. And its why the phrase keyboard warriors came up. We all have to admit, we all, to some small extent have a tendency to become keyboard warriors.

                  But honestly, I like balanced arguments about a novel, speculations about future chapters etc, over 8th grade syndrome comments that just say "kill that character, he/she's so annoying blablabla"
