“Welcome to the Game of Deception, wrongfully dead soul.”

“Win just one round, and you can rewrite the history of your death—returning to life.”

“Win one round?”

Ming Po flicked a chip onto the table, a smile curling at the corner of his lips.

“There’s a saying,” he said lightly. “You only win if you’re the last one standing.”

If every victor holds the power to rewrite fate,

then when countless hands tear at the timeline—smearing it, rewriting it again and again—

only the final winner has the right to deliver the decisive blow.

Winner takes all.

Losers turn to dust.

Ok so this is a quick review of what I have read in Qidian:

    First:
This novel is similar to "Liar Game" (another novel) style... a very pure intellectual-battle novel. The rules are rigorous and require calculation. The writing style and character portrayal lean toward light novels and is different from mainstream online novels; if it matches your tastes, you'll love it. Its also similar to "A writer's Odyssey".

    Second:
    Pure "智斗"
(mind-game/intellectual battle) rather than power fantasy. It has carefully designed game rules with little hand-waving. Interesting worldbuilding involving rewriting history and competing timelines.

Third: (what I should warn readers about)
It has a heavy reliance on logic and calculations that can make some rounds difficult to follow. It has a light-novel style characterization which is somewhat divisive beacuse readers either enjoy it or find it less mature than traditional Chinese webnovels. ryback_eat
It's still ongoing, so there is no consensus yet on whether it sticks the landing.

As someone who reads a lot of webnovels, I'd categorize it as a "brainy death-game novel" rather than a progression fantasy. If your favorite parts of novels are clever schemes, loopholes, and psychological warfare, you will love it. If you prefer rapid power growth and combat, it may feel slow.

The description is a spoiler, without it I would have gotten a surprise. The cover isn't bad, panic didn't have to replace it.
