【From the author of ‘My Profession is too Personal’!】

He dies a thousand times a day. And remembers every single one.

Each death is just fuel. Across myriad worlds, his clones are born, they struggle, and they perish—in cultivation sects, on futuristic battlefields, in dying galaxies.

Every scrap of power, every secret art, flows back to his one true body.

He is a god being built from a mountain of his own corpses. An emperor whose throne is paved with the memories of a million shattered lives that were all his.

The path to transcendence is a lonely road, walked by an army of one.

And the gate to the real multiverse is about to open.

Offical Description:

Three days. That’s how long before the city incinerates you with the rest of the garbage. Literally.

Li Yu is broke, starving, and marked for death. But he possesses one desperate trump card: a system that projects disposable clones into parallel universes.

While his real body rots in the slums, his avatar gets tortured by New York mobsters and sealed in concrete. The reward for this gruesome demise? A magnetic ion sniper rifle dropping straight into his lap.

The cleanup crew is coming. But they're about to bring a broom to a gunfight. Collapse

In my opinion, this novel is underrated. It is by no means a masterpiece, but it's highly entertaining and has a fresh, interesting central concept. It’s a bit of a slow burn at first, but once you read past a certain point, it really starts to grow on you. I say it's underrated because it doesn't get as many views or good reviews as other novels on the site that are honestly worse. If you read it, just expect pure entertainment. You won't find a deep storyline or characters that feel real. It doesn't particularly excel in any area, but it isn't bad in any either. I’d say it's pretty well-balanced.

To me it felt like the pace was a bit too fast for the type of system the mc was given, a value accumulation system but the MC was very prone of seeking out trouble and ensuring that he almost always had 'enemies' to have to hide from or being stifled in general. This to me felt like everything was way too railroaded and the world after a certain point simply revolves around the mc so since this is a power fantasy and failure is not a thing novel ended up being rather shallow.

High-quality fast-food read. It reminded me a lot of The Legendary Mechanic.

I read it in one go from beginning to end (it's already finished in the Chinese version).

I'm giving it 5/5, not because it's an amazing book or anything, but because it delivered on its promise: a good, fast-food read.

Decent slop to pass the time. This novel has a comedic undertone, so do not expect something too serious.

The clone deployment system is just a bunch of text on a screen, the mc doesn't transmigrate personally, only system crafted clones do. These clones are difficult to control and the rewards are ridiculous. Not because they are useless but because they are reality breaking and conveniently helps the mc every time the mc is in trouble.

Also, since mc cannot control his clones too much, their actions in their respective worlds are quite ridiculous. Decent comedy, I suppose.

The villains or the factions opposing mc are quite stupid. But I guess that somewhat adds to the humor.

That said, the author doesn’t really know when to let the MC or the readers breathe. The MC is constantly dealing with factions, schemes, and new problems. Still, the story doesn’t take itself too seriously, so the constant chaos is balanced by its humor.

Agreed. Story has a comedic undertone which sometimes develops into a farsical slop. Plot is not really well-developed or explored - more like "MC goes here, and this happens". The "Clone system" is just an afterthought add-on - it doesn't really affect the main storyline or influence the characters - it could have just been any other random convenient power-up system instead.

I read this in AI a while ago. On one hand it's buns on the other hand I did finish it.

The universe is interesting. However the issue is everyone in this novel is stupid. Even up to the end of the novel you get a strong sense of stupidity from all the villains.

4 or 5/10. I did read all the way through. But it was a slog

dang, not serious at all, i thought he would control his avatars as they went to new and mysterious worlds. but what is this?? movie worlds, and repeating them(repeating worlds i mean) as well. And worse, his avatars are not serious too, he barely lasts a few days in each world with 90% f*cking some women or looking for women to f*ck.
