Hawk plunges into Los Angeles and chooses the entertainment and media industry. Media is like sunlight—it not only illuminates the bright side.

Every word and every image that appears in the media is meticulously crafted to guide public opinion and manipulate the masses. Collapse

      Yes.
The jews rule both Hollywood and the country it resides in.
That's why it's filled with porn, pedophilia, fαggotry, LBGTards, and other mental-illnesses.
The jews are the ones that proliferated those conditions and their religion says it's ok.

If the ruling class and people of other races and beliefs abided with restraint in morality and wisdom this could not have transpired.

    Excellent! A solid 4 /5 ✨! Read up to chapter 230.

I’m familiar with this author, as I’ve read his books way back. You could say he’s a typical niche writer—a pseudo-expert on Hollywood. He has many other novels: MCs as movie actors, producers, directors, film company bosses, etc. And here, the MC is a journalist/PR manager for Hollywood stars.

Unlike the author’s other works, this one has a harsher setting, resembling the character assassination of British tabloids—dirt everywhere, enemies aplenty, and even non-enemies are self-serving opportunists.

The MC is ruthless and cunning, willing to go far, a bit reckless since he’s up against corporations. He has principles, though; he’s not the type to trade a sack of rice for a bowl, but he’ll stab you with a knife for a single strike!

The author loves stacking minor events to create a massive explosive wave, which I enjoy. The plot is tight and coherent—like a rollercoaster ride, thrilling to follow.

Characters feel alive, each scheming for their own gain, trying to outmaneuver others. The action is dynamic.

The story is confined to Los Angeles for now. It’s foolish to expect a macro-plot before the micro-plot unfolds.

No harem. The MC’s girlfriend is a reckless cop who’d kill if needed. He has a Black friend, and given the MC’s razor-sharp tongue, their banter about his orientation, racism, and other stars is hilarious. As the saying goes: LA's biggest gang is the police.

The translation is poor, almost MTL copy-paste. Proceed with caution. I had to create a glossary using Grok + Deepseek, or else 50% of the fun would’ve been lost.

I do it this way: I asked Deepseek to translate the Chinese text into my language at a native speaker level, and below that I listed a glossary, for example, "Jason - is the MC, a man."

And then I added an instruction for the AI to add new important characters at the end of the chapter, new elements for the glossary. There aren't many important characters in the book that would be in the spotlight for more than 5 chapters.

In total, it turned out to be about 500–700 lines, each line is a character or an explanation of difficult words.
