gets boring after soul transformation. MC is OP , yes from start, but after he gets to the second realm basically realms dont mean anything.

Honestly im kinda tired of authors just putting in filler realms. For example core formation, nascent soul. reaching these stages are described and actually feel like a distinctive power up. But after soul transformation author doesnt even bother anymore.

there is some romance but its like 1 ch every 400 or something. its so sparse not even worth reading for. MC always on some side mission can never be in sect with established characters.

This novel definitely has its good points, but the pacing can feel like torture at times. Some chapters completely hook you, while others are really burdensome to get through. The style feels older, almost like the spiritual son of RMJI. I really hope it improves soon—otherwise, I may end up dropping it.

Right now at 1058 chapter, its good enough but interesting things are starting only after но до этого ещё переводить и переводить как до пекина раком.

I finished reading chapter 200. There were some intriguing moments, but mostly the same type of actions. This novel is definitely worse than Everlasting in the World Immortal's.

Got up to Chapter 21 before dropping it. Based on these chapters, I don't see how you could say the 'MC has a brain and isn't afraid to use it' as per other reviews here. I guess he might improve later on, but my god. He acts really foolishly for no reason.

He transmigrates as a captured prisoner in a convoy. There is a demonic cultivator who is absorbing/draining these prisoners to sustain himself, before some righteous cultivator comes and fights him and they end up killing each other. MC gets knocked out and when he wakes up after the fight sees the insane destruction caused between them and loots some stuff from both cultivators - a cultivation method and demonic artifact being the relevant ones here.

The main reason I dropped this was because the MC acted so stupidly in regards to this and it just so happened to set in motion things that seem really rushed/forced.

Basically, he starts cultivating the method and after like a year he reaches level 2 which is the MINIMUM cultivation needed to start Refining the demonic banner artefact thing. He then IMMEDIATELY starts trying to refine it, despite having seen the destruction caused by the cultivators initially and knowing he is nowhere near that level. He also sees a demonic spirit moving around in the banner when he starts, but ignores it as him just seeing things. He obviously gets sucked dry of his meager amount of Qi, then gets pulled into the his body where the spirit is about to devour him before his golden finger, some Jade Buddah he carried in his past life, protects him.

After being saved by this, the spirit then attacks some mute guy who has been living with him for the past few months in the temple. He pretends that the guy just passed away from natural causes and they bury him, with MC feeling some guilt. Then that same night, an Assassin breaks into his room. MC calls him out, then after the Assassin asks about the mute guy and if MC killed him (which he basically confirms by not controlling his expression), the Assassin reveals that the mute guy turned out to be an Assassin all along and so MC doesn't need to feel guilty anymore. MC then is forced to kill that guy too, then after questioning his soul, decides to immediately kill the remaining informant in the city that may report back to the main Assassin organisation and then run away from the temple and so packs everything up and sets his house on fire.

It just feels like the MC doesn't even have any basic caution. He isn't in any danger or rush to refine the banner artifact, yet he IMMEDIATELY rushes to try as soon as he meets the bare minimum requirement. Despite knowing that it is a demonic artifact AND the previous owner was clearly much stronger than MC currently is.
The random Assassin plot seems so forced as well, just pushing MC away from this safe location just because.

I'm not asking him to be Han Jue level of cautious or anything, but not messing with a dangerous demonic artifact like that should not be too much to ask. If he knew about his cheat beforehand, then maybe it would be more acceptable I guess, but it only showed up as the spirit was about to devour his soul and I'm sure it will have some more effects later as well, but I just don't like how this started tbh.
