    The writing is not horrible. Its not bad. There aren't obvious flaws that make a pain to read. The MC isn't braindead, a simp or a psycho.

    Its just pretty bland. A good story to waste time on if you are new to the genre but if you've read a lot I dont recommend it.

    The plot is bland. The mc is bland. There is nothing bad but nothing stands out either.
