One of, if not, The best wizard novel. It doesn't have any glaring flaws or weaknesses however it truly portrays what it means to be a wizard. I have read alot of wizard novels and the mc in this truly embodies what it means to be a wizard. And the best part is that he doesn't just start acting as one from the beginning but slowly develops into one over months, years, and decades. At the beginning, he was a normal human, with relatively normal moral standards. He felt guilt and pity for the test subjects, and really wanted to help them if he could but he was afraid of getting himself killed. By the end, the mc started acting like his teacher himself. This made the mc feel so much more alive and human, genuinely good character growth.

The world building is also good, its a unique portrayal of a Wizarding world. It has most of what you would expect, wizards being op and knights being ants, but it's also has more depth and diversity. There are multiple races that are powerful in their own right and different supernatural classes all races can take, even spellcasting classes other than wizard, like mage or shaman. Of course wizards are still at the top but they at least have competition.

The mc cheat also deserves some praises. It's a cheat that encourages mc to act more wizard like while also greatly supplementing his path by giving him some direction, increased talent, and knowledge. It also doesn't just directly take him to the top. He still has to research, experiment, and advance on his own for the most part.

Unfortunately, this was dropped by chapter 192. However, chapter 188-190 was in my opinion a good ending point to the story. Mc reaches formal wizard and we got to see his abilities, the abilities of his subordinates, the vastness and power of the wizard civilization, and we got to know what the mc next project and development plan is. It is a good enough open ending. Especially since, wizard novels have a tendency to deteriorate after mc becomes a level 1 wizard.

I highly recommend reading this, if you are craving a good wizard novel, or more specifically a wizard apprentice novel.

From what i know, the story is dropped around chapter 190 something.

Seems solid, but couldnt capture my interrest(drop it now on ch 30), but it doesnt have obvious mistakes that an obvious comparison, has early on even.

Description: the MC and most people can somehow enter inside items or objects and fight monsters that represent the degradation of said objects, and by killing the monsters and getting back into the real world can magically improve and even outright upgrade the objects. There is some kinda classes like in d&d too, I also think the novel is Litrpg based
The MC may have been isekaied, or somehow regained previous life memories or something along those lines I dont remember exactly....read it a while back.

Story: The MC is a male, the story starts in a village, there is a strict hierarchy in the village and almost nobody is allowed to go out of the village by the village chief, the MC is kinda looked down upon by other due to his grandpa making some problems or mistakes in the past so he is like an outcast.
Then some soldiers comes to the village to fight a changeling and they conscript the magic users from the village and MC goes along with the youths among them is the granddaughter of village chief. They defeat the monster with some modern earth physics application and somehow blow up the monster.
Then back at the village the MC somehow upgrades his class fights the village chief and spelndidly loses and chief let's him know some secrets to his grandpa's past andthen he gets out of the village and travels to nearby city and join some kinda approximation of adventurers or mercenary guild or it could be the gaurds in the city too....done remeber much.....and this is all I remember

Why,why, this was dropped.I read 52 chapters and this story was good.It was well fleshed out and had good characters but soon it will be stopped.

Why do people always say that these types of novels are inspired by Warlock of the Magus World? The author of WLOTMW name is literally The Plagiarist
