Message from the RMH team |
Cyncoco:
It's me, Cyncoco!
Alas, my second and final goodbye message for RMH to you all.
Thank you all for joining me and the rest of us at WuxiaWorld!
I want to thank Wanderer, CutieBinkie, Veela, Namu, Cosy, and everyone else on staff who either helped out when I got sick or was there for me when I couldn't figure out what half the words meant oop.
As my third novel on WW, I think I learned a lot (both in how much work older/murim novels take to translate with the incessant Hanja, and in compiling a list of commonly accepted and understood terminology adopted from other Korean novels and Chinese wuxia.)
I hope all the work we put into this novel shows in every chapter and I apologize for all the syntax issues (there was a learning curve with the platform and I accidentally deleted a lot fixing things).
There was a lot of personal growth for me during this novel. A lot happened from the time I started this novel till now! While there were a lot of hard times, there were a lot of good times, and I'm very grateful you all supported me and the team throughout it all.
I will always be in awe of how you all allowed me to do what I love,
Love, Cyncoco
P.S. Maybe if everyone asks I can try to convince them to do JUN's other novels…
Passing Wanderer:
Although my time working on this novel was brief, it was still super fun to get involved, I must say. I've always enjoyed the webtoon, so when the chance to work on the OG novel for a few chapters here and there presented itself, I thought, “Hell yeah!” and dived in straight away.
I hope you, our valued readers, enjoyed the journey as much as we have. Thank you for sticking with us till the end. And… See you on the next one.
CuteBinkie:
I still can't believe it's the end. These characters have lived rent free in my head for almost two years, and now they're packing up and leaving me with bittersweet feelings I didn't sign up for.
Thank you for reading, for crying, for cheering our Xuchuan on, and for staying till the end.
It's been a journey, and I feel so lucky I got to be a part of it.
Love always,
someone who got way too emotionally attached
Veela: The time I spent with the team was short but fruitful. I hope you've had as much fun as me reading this novel, and I hope to see you on another one~
