【Trait Draw + Simulator + Full Inheritance + Immortal Martial Arts】

Chen Yi transmigrates to a martial arts world and obtains a system that lets him draw one trait per year.

Unfortunately, all he ever draws are useless white-tier traits. The chance of high-quality traits is extremely low—the top-tier Mythical traits have a probability of only 0.001%!

To increase the odds, he must raise his martial cultivation realm.

But he has no spiritual roots—he can’t cultivate at all.

At eighteen, Chen Yi meets his misfortune and falls into the hands of a criminal gang, forced into hard labor. Just as it seems his life will fade into misery, the 18th trait he draws turns out to be a Mythical trait—

Simulator!

Inside the simulation, each year also grants a trait draw.

When the simulation ends, all traits and martial cultivation are fully inherited… Collapse

It was a surprisingly fun read (376 chapters) and the ai translation isn't that bad. But unfortunately the author keeps killing a lot of the novel's aspects and potential with traits. I get excited about a cetain thing in the novel and then the aurhor just throws an epic/legendary trait and ruin the whole thing. And it gets progressivly more annoying the more traits he accumulates. The simulations also isn't actually him going living the life. He just 'inherits' the memories and progress without any emotions. Which I also didn't like. MC's character isn't persistent, sometimes he helps the weak and do good for everyone. And sometimes he's a petty theif who steals from and kills innocent people passing by (literally) with no self guilt whatsoever.

When he first arrived at the new planet and was cultivating in the forest. It was literally called 'occasional robbery' and the MC was even lamenting not being able to kill one of the passerbys due to them escaping with their core.

Yeah okay helping his own race; humans, while killing aliens that always harass, enslave, kill, abuse humans and if he was bit weaker he would be under that fate Isn't exactly "not persitent".

What the actual f***, You really gonna justify robbing and killing random innocent passerbys as 'helping humans' just because they are form a different race, nothing more? And consider that consistent with his character? Man just get the hell out of my comment.

        Chapter 366
With his clones helping to gather materials, and the occasional robbery of a few "lucky" aliens, Chen Yi finally managed to build up a decent reserve of cultivation resources.

On one occasion, he robbed a big fish and obtained an extremely precious spiritual treasure—a Storage Bag!

It was a drab, tattered gray bag, even sporting a few patches.

However, this object was a genuine spiritual treasure.

Crossing paths with Chen Yi was simply his worst nightmare.

However, this fellow was not easy to kill. In the end, the man had triggered a self-explosion to force Chen Yi back, allowing his Origin Core to escape through Core Evasion.

Chen Yi felt deep regret for failing to pull the weeds by their roots.

This also served as a warning: when dealing with those at the Pill Transformation Realm or above, one had to be wary of their Core Evasion techniques.

On the other hand, I partially understand the protagonist: everyone around him hates the human race, and given his experiences of slavery and the deaths of his comrades, one can become racist.
I also don't think the author ruins the novel's potential; rather, the elements significantly advance the plot and save us from a ton of fluff. The author himself stated in responses to comments on previous works that he wanted to write a gripping read, with a plot that has high substantive value and moves forward at every moment. He writes "funny" fiction; to quote the author, "imagine watching a film that consists of numerous comedy sketches with the same characters, rather than a serious detective story or mystery."

There is no maximum skill level, there are higher and higher levels, and the more complex the technique, the harder it is to level it up. After the "perfect" level, there are the next ones, and each level has 10-1000 times higher requirements than the levels before "perfection".

Yet again, this still does not make any sense. In the beginning, the MC had normal techniques. Yet still after decades of simulation only one reached perfection while the other still remained low-leveled. If you’re saying that complex techniques are harder to level, and after perfection realm is the watershed of difficulty. Why the hell does the MC not even reach perfection realm with normal techniques?

What are you talking about???? Chapter 67
[4. External Kung Fu: "Heart Flame Mysterious Art" (Transcendent); Internal Kung Fu: "Pure Yang Spirit Guiding Mysterious Art" (Great Completion); Mental Cultivation Method: "Azure Flame Heart Art" (Great Completion); Martial Art: "Shattered Star Wave Finger" (Initial Success); Martial Art: "Dragon Flame Mysterious Art" (Great Completion); Martial Art: "Fire Arrow Step" (Transcendent)...]

          and 59 chapter
          [Year 57: Seventy-five years old.]

[After abandoning the path of evil, you focused on locating Leylines and cultivating your various techniques. Relying on the Proficiency trait, you frantically pushed your cultivation realms higher.]

[You discovered that the highest realm for a technique wasn't actually Perfection. Beyond Perfection lay a state known as Transcendent!]

[When you questioned Zhenpin, he, like most martial artists, believed that Perfection was the absolute limit of any technique. It was clear that those who could reach the Transcendent state were incredibly rare!]

[More miraculously, there seemed to be levels even beyond Transcendent, as you could still continue practicing to increase your proficiency.]

[However, once you reached this stage, the number of repetitions required was staggering, even for a mid-tier technique. For higher-quality methods, the required count exploded geometrically.]

[But wasn't it just a matter of time?]

[To you, that wasn't a problem at all.]

[If one simulation wasn't enough, you would use two. If two weren't enough, then three. Sooner or later, you would max out the proficiency of every single technique you possessed!]

It's a decent piece of junk food, I'd give it a solid 4. I gave it a higher rating to adjust the average. Briefly, the book features the main character speedrunning the good ending. Thanks to his "golden finger," he has the power to jump two realms (no more), but stronger enemies smash him to pieces. It's also worth noting that the author doesn't drag out the simulations too much, allowing him to progress quickly, and after just 330 chapters, he makes the transition to the higher realm. You won't have to read 900+ chapters of water to see the main character's progress. The most important cheat is FAMILY. gokutrump acinema dandadan meme_14

Decent junkfood novel. The simulations so far (MTL chapter 173) have been intriguing enough. The traits have gotten progressively stronger, as you'd expect since the higher his cultivation the better chance for higher ranked traits, however there's a couple of times where he desperately needs a specific skill or ability and of course he gets exactly what he needs.

It's not overly surprising considering what kind of novel this is, however since he was never in any real danger because it happened in a simulation I was kind of hoping he'd die and get the trait he needed in another simulation and head back with that as a plan in mind instead of just getting insanely lucky.

Anyways it's like a 6 out of 10, decent to kill time, but don't expect a masterpiece.

It was a good time and an easy read, but after a certain point it gets a bit hard to take seriously. it's ok if you don't mind the goofiness, I'd still recommend trying it, it has some merits.
    (MTL Ch.174)

The Novel has an incredibly fast pace and to keep that pace, a lot is lost. I know it's to be expected in a Simulation type but this one was especially bad about throwing things in just to progress the story.

The overall quality of the story been on a consistent decline for sometime now, or maybe my interest in the stories direction has been in constant decline. I'm still reading as of now, I just wish it had been a bit better. It really had the potential to be high quality junkfood.....
