"If all the Ancient Ones rise against us, I'll burn them all. If the entire world turns against us, I will set it ablaze. Nothing will stand in our way. Nothing!" - Achilles Adrastia Maxwell

---

Death followed Achilles like a plague.

Finding himself at his lowest point, he comes to realize how little value human life held as terrifying Advanced Humans and Evolutius Beasts waded across the Colonies of this World.

About to lose the only remaining person close to him by falling into the jaws of an Evolutius Beast, a spark bloomed inside of him as the Evolutius Crystals he held disappeared, and he saw a distinct blue panel appear before his eyes!

[Achilles Maxwell]

[Assimilation]:: Organic Crystal(Evolutius Crystals)(3%)- Obtained qualities of Regeneration, Energy Conversion, Flexibility, and Light Manipulation

[Existence Corruption Value]:: 0%

[Complexity]:: Negligible

A simple spark. And yet the changes it brought…were limitless!

In an endlessly vast post-apocalyptic world filled with futuristic Colonies that merged magic with technology, undercurrents surge from the depths of the World as even the Ancient Ones sealed many years ago begin to awaken.

In the middle of all this, the terrifying power dwelling within Achilles leads him to question its origins, and the answer to this is something that resonates and leads back to his very bloodline.

Ancient Ones. Advanced Ones. Ancient Bloodlines, and Unfathomable Lineages...anything and everything swirls into a storm of heavy proportions that will change everything! Collapse

God reading this hurts. So many unnecessary words that just repeat what was already said, over complicated words that are not needed. Half the time feels like I'm trading Ai.

Plus he loves to mention it every second chapter "weeks ago he was powerless.. Now he is great*

I’m like 100% sure he wrote this with AI. I just did this rpg adventure game with chatgpt because I was bored and halfway through I realized the language and the way it’s written sounds exactly like this

90% of it is just filler that doesn’t add to the story. Even though English is my third language, I can tell he’s using needlessly complicated words, like GPT does.

    In author language

A substantial portion of the narrative, approximately ninety percent, consists of superfluous verbiage that contributes little to the progression of the story. Despite English being my third language, I am sufficiently proficient to discern that he employs unnecessarily abstruse and ostentatious diction reminiscent of GPT.

A new novel from Adui, the author of "Infinite Mana in the Apocalypse" (IMITA). Writing this after reading 350 chapters.

Pretty good so far, but you can see Adui's Dao of Writing was permanently altered because of the previous novel haha. Not that it's terrible, just... if you know you know.

I can feel that Adui himself is struggling with certain problem in his works, specifically the MC overshadowing all other characters, including his closest allies and friends. In the previous novel, Noah, every now and then, has this "realization" and empowers his friends and family and then goes to fight alone anyway. In this novel, Achilles (the MC), seems to be doing the same, but Adui tries harder to at least let his gf (Rose) to fight sometimes. But as you read, you can see the author's struggle.

The cultivation system is different from IMITA's. Here each realm has meaning and provides different boons, at least for now.

MC's power, the Assimilation, is pretty OP (especially his "version"), but restricted by the corruption value. Kind of reminds me of "Epic of caterpillar" novel's Kireina, but, again, restricted. I have a feeling, that in the future, that value won't be as problematic as it is right now, however who knows.

It seems that there won't be a harem as the MC is super enamored with Rose in a way that reminds me of "Dimensional Descent" novel's Leonel and Aina.

The "universe" seems to be completely different from IMITA's which is good imo.

That being said, I will be reading til the end, Adui's writing has a certain charm to it haha.

It is possible that they exists in the same cosmology. The Cosmology of IMITA allows completely alien and different universes to live under a single overarching system.

I doubt that. I think it's different cosmology entirely. But who knows! Adui could make crossover or just keep stories separate. Personally, I think that if Achilles ever goes to "higher" places and hears about this absolute unit Noah standing on top of Existence then it would be just bad storytelling. I mean there wouldn't be any big bad to defeat because Noah already took care of that and all locations would be the same? Nahhh, I'd much rather prefer that Adui kept things completely separate. Different cosmology, places, systems, powers, characters etc.

The story starts off way too cringe. The constant over the top praise is hard to take seriously. Then there’s the usual lust crazed mob characters going after the MC’s girlfriend, straight out of the cliche handbook.

That said, the rest isnt terrible. The world building is decent, nothing groundbreaking but it gets the job done. It follows the familiar "humans awaken powers" setup, similar to Solo Leveling.

Still, the cringe in the dialogue almost made me drop it.

As for the MC, his ability revolves around assimilating other organisms(or their cores). Thats his power, his system. In terms of character development, there’s not much to say yet. So far, he just comes across as a pretty average guy.

reader I Can Assimilate Everything — A Slow Burn Worth the Wait

    ✍️ Review by AUTHOR
    ---

    31 “Power isn't taken. It's digested.”

Let’s be honest—we’ve all read the overpowered system trope before. Talent snatching, stat screens, world-hopping... it's familiar territory. But【 I Can Assimilate Everything 】isn’t just another rinse-and-repeat. It builds momentum like a storm behind glass. Quiet at first, then suddenly, you’re swept off your feet.

This is not a popcorn novel. It doesn’t throw dopamine bombs every chapter. What it does offer is steady progression, a surprisingly immersive power system, and an MC who isn’t just collecting abilities—he’s becoming something else entirely.

    ---

    constraint What Makes It Different?

🔥 Assimilation actually feels meaningful. It’s not just “take skill, get stronger.” With every new absorption, Achilles (our MC) inherits more than power—he inherits instincts, habits, even remnants of personality. It makes you wonder: How much of him is still “him”?

🧠 Smart worldbuilding. The author doesn’t dump lore on your lap. Instead, pieces are scattered like broken mirrors—you gather them slowly, realizing there’s far more beneath the surface than the usual "MC versus world" setup.

kiaa Combat isn’t just boom-boom. Strategies shift, enemies evolve, and the MC adapts in ways that feel organic. Fights don’t blur together—they escalate with purpose.

quiet No harem. No waifu bait. No distractions. Thank. The. Stars. Just pure focus on ambition, growth, and consequence.
    ---

    ✅ Pros

    Solid pacing (esp. mid arc).
    MC with evolving identity
    Power system with bite
    No filler, no fluff

    ❌ Cons
    Early chapters feel light/typical
    Limited character POV depth
    Grammar hiccups in early chapters
Updates can be slow at times
    ---

    know Final Thoughts

I Can Assimilate Everything 】isn't for everyone—and that’s a compliment. It doesn’t spoon-feed tension or force hype moments. Instead, it respects the reader’s patience. It simmers.

The real charm? Watching the MC transform—not just in power, but in being. The more he absorbs, the more blurred the line becomes between predator and philosopher. There’s a thematic undercurrent here that’s rare in power fantasy: when does consumption become erasure?

If you're the kind of reader who enjoys progression that feels earned, and a story that dares to think, this novel belongs on your list.

    ---

    Rating: ★★★★☆ (3.7/5)
    Status: Ongoing
Recommended for fans of: Chrysalis, Shadow Slave, Lord of the Mysteries (minus the Victorian lore)

📚 Read it slowly. It’s not just what Achilles becomes—it’s what he leaves behind.
