    Probably one of the few ones that i did not have the urge to drop. The story is not slow and not fast either its pretty balanced pace. around 150 chapters the translation kinda turned goofy. however as someone who consumes chinese mtl slop daily, my brain already evolved to travel back in time and correct it before i even read it. If you have problems with it just use grok to proofread it

    Overall the story is pretty decent. Basically a shitty copy of the 40K universe, seen through a Chinese lens. But if that can be ignored, it’s pretty good. Decent plot, no significant plot holes. The extra PoVs whilst not useless, don't particularly feel necessary.

    But the number demon strikes from chapter 146 onwards tanking the translation.

    After that, it starts to become effort to read. And now the battles are getting a bit tedious, so combined with the effort to overcome shitty translations and chopped chapters? Just ended up losing motivation to continue. Might come back to this later, might not.

    P.s I still can’t believe people pay for this assholes translations…

      Yes, the numbers in this novel are indeed "chaos-ridden", but so are many Chinese novels, which are probably just not very good at translating. But except for the numbers, the translation is good. If you call this shitty, you've never read a shitty translation.
      Although there are too many numbers, which makes for a not very good combination. To understand what's what, you often have to divide them by 10, and sometimes by 2. But it's not always clear from the context, so... I just skip the numbers when it's not too critical.

        I think you're completely misunderstanding me. As other readers, even Lord of the Nine's comment below have mentioned, I'm referring to the Webnovel translator (549690339) who butchers translations. The translation before was fine, afterwards it became effort. Unless I find the story so good that it's worth the effort, then I will not continue.

          I checked multiple sites the translation of this novel in this site is actually better for example here it's called wasteland society but in other sites it's abandoned cave society so saying it got ruined by some bad translator is just bad mouthing the story and preventing new readers from starting it I do agree that later chapters might be from webnovel and translation will surely be more MTL but early chapters are good.

    Don't pay attention to the fact that this is fan fiction - it can be read as an independent work. For example, I am not familiar with the Warhammer universe at all.
    This is a good novel, it is worth reading. On the downside, there is quite a lot of "water", that is, events not from the point of view of the MC and sometimes this is really unnecessary, but overall it is not so bad.     This is another really great novel that got damaged by the Numbered Curse 549690339, but if you're a veteran reader who's interested in kingdom building/army building stories, or ur just interested in Warhammer 40K, and don't mind shaky translations, then you'll love this welldone

    But keep in mind the author has added a bit of the tropes of a typical Chinese fantasy to the lore, and the translation also shakes things up a bit, so there's things you won't recognise and plotlines that have been changed.
