Jiang Changsheng was reincarnated as the crown prince of the Jing Kingdom. However, he was switched at birth and was sent to grow up in a temple. He was raised as a Taoist.

The change in his fate was devastating. Fortunately, he was able to awaken the Survival System and gained the power to not die from aging. Every time he survived a dangerous event, he could receive rewards.

His senior brother almost killed him by accident. He was lucky enough to survive that and was rewarded with the Divine Shadow Kick.

He almost got crushed when the ceiling fell on top of him during an earthquake. He was able to obtain the Nine Seeking Divine Dragon Step.

After surviving the demon invasion, he was rewarded with the magic treasure, Demon Subduing Mace.

This was a world where kingdoms stood tall, demons rampaged in the wild, martial arts ruled the street, and where Gods did not exist.

300 years had passed.

The Jing Kingdom was starting to fall. The dukes came together and made the emperor their puppet. The kingdom was divided. After decades of internal conflicts, the kingdom was on the verge of being invaded. The citizens were pretty much living in hell.

The puppet king, Jiang Xuanzhen, arrived at the temple and begged, “Ancestor, I apologize for being weak! Please! Help us regain our glory!” Collapse

I read first 20 chapters and dropped it as it was a waste of time.I don't understand why people like this.It is similar to top tier providence. The mc is not that remarkable,a spoon-feeding system,no setback faced by the mc. Another forgettable junk novel. 1/10

I just finished this novel and I'm still reeling from the experience! The story is utterly captivating, drawing you in from the very first page. The characters are expertly crafted, each with their own distinct personality, motivations, and backstory. The world-building is also impressive, with a richly detailed and immersive environment that's easy to get lost in.

My only minor quibble is the sheer number of martial realms, which can be a bit overwhelming at times. However, this is a small price to pay for an otherwise exceptional read.

Overall, I highly recommend this novel to anyone looking for a compelling and immersive story. It's a true page-turner that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end! 12

Same Author as Top Tier Providence.

Hidden gem, if you love Top Tier Providence, you will love this as well, it has the same essence.

The Mc is the Dao Ancestor and built his own Cultivation System Orthodoxy.

The Mc is smart, with a logical and common sense mind.

It does kingdom building and wars quite well, the last 200 chapters were hype, with an unfortunate rushed ending, 10 chapters more and it would have become solid.

The world building is great, it's big and you understand the structure of the novel easily.

The system isn't overly OP, and stays in the background most of the time.

10/10 imo, it had everything I wanted in a novel, might be lower for y'all.

I have extremely mixed feelings about this one.

The way I usually judge if a novel is good, is if, after reading, I have an urge to read it again, to see what I missed, which tells me that I want to remain immersed in that world. Legendary Mechanic and Cosmic Professional Gladiator spring to mind as examples where I've felt this.

As the story progressed, I was feeling more and more like this would be added to the list of novels like I mentioned above.

That is, until I got to the last few chapters.

So what's wrong with the last few chapters? Bad ending? Nope.

The problem is, there's no ending to speak of, it just stops. Looks like it was dropped or something, because as of Chapter 766, the novel is marked as Completed, but it's far from complete.

So as of now, it's killed my interest in re-reading it.

If it's actually completed in the future, then there's a good chance that I'll change my mind, but until then, nope.

If so then fantastic, and I'm looking forward to it.

Someone might want to inform Panic that it's erroneously marked as Completed then. :)

As I said above, if its completed, then there's a good chance that I'll add it to my list of books I want to re-read. It was certainly heading in that direction.

It is very classic webnovel to hide the final chapters behind a huge paywall.

            Indeed. Very annoying.

I'm probably just a bit salty, because I was really enjoying it.

For it to just abruptly stop the way it did, quite literally yanked me out of the immersion forcefully, and given what I said above about re-reading because I want to stay immersed in that world, do I even need to say anything further?

Now that I know that we're just waiting on someone breaching the pay-wall (which is only a matter of time), I feel somewhat better about it. (It still shouldn't have been marked as Completed though, or I wouldn't have had such a visceral reaction to it just abruptly stopping).

Yeah, one of my other daily novels also has its ending stopped by webnovel but it was only about 10 chapters so I just mtl'd it since there were no complex stuff happening. Moral of the story, webnovel sucks.

Nice. The last chapters have been added. Thanks Panic.

Going to re-read from the start and see if I still have that 'I want to stay immersed in this world for a bit longer' feeling. Helps that my memory is terrible, so I've actually forgotten a bit for now. :)
