      Every echo / shadow Sunny has received so far has been thematically important.

      Random kills aren’t going to give him a shadow for some reason. Statistically speaking, he should have dozens of echoes.

      He currently only has 4 shadows (Saint, Horse, Snake, and Hungry Gremlin). He isn’t even using the snake RN.

          I'm thinking her First Nightmare will probably be in the desert with the pyramid, the place that is assumed to be the origin of the chain of Nightmare Gates in Antarctica. This will then be the reason that Sunny goes into a Nightmare Gate and challenge it to become a Saint.

              Indeed, it seems I was mistaken. It's been a long time already since the beginning of the novel. I actually meant for Rain's first exploration of the Dream Realm to be in that dessert, and not her First Nightmare. I meant the equivalent of Sunny's adventures in the Forgotten Shore.
              As for the the isolation of the information, I suspect the Snake Shadow could somehow transmit a vague general direction for Sunny to go to.
