    So a collosal object falls from a great height very very close to you, and somehow, the tremors from the impact throws you closer to the object.
    Then instead of escaping through Shadows, Sunny decides to struggle through the miasma.
    What sublime logic✨

    Also, getting a Memory from every Corrupted creature he kills...when did the odds of the Spell giving out Memories become so favourable?

      You are joking right? He killed dozens of corrupted NC and ever got just a handfull of them. He even killed a titan and got no memory from it. Just in this fight he killed many corrupted beasts and probably got just a miniscule amount of memories from it. He probably got many fallen ones though(after killing many dozens of them in this fight)

        The odds of Spell giving a Memory was never 100%. Its actually lesser than 20% from what we've seen. And upto this point of the story, he indeed got a Memory from every Corrupted creature he killed. So I'm not joking.

          He really didn't, i can give you a perfect example. Remember when he was leading the refugees through the antarctic center and had to split himself from the cohort to go help saint in defeating another horde?(it was the fight where in he shot the strike of thunder in the water and killed 100 NC's with a single shot) on that battle, with saint, he killed 4 corrupted creatures, i think it was 3 demons amd 1 devil, and yet, he only gained one memory, the stifled scream(the memory that increases stats based on the time the user spent silent). This sole encounter show you that not every corrupted dropped a memory. There was also the scavenger boss(the guardian that came from the same gate as the ravenous fiend), he also did not drop a memory when killed

            I admit I don't exactly remember the happenstance of the events you mentioned, but if those are true, Sunny is still super lucky. It never happened with anybody else.

              This did happen, that was the exact example I was thinking of lol

              Also, two other things. First: Sunny is really lucky. [Fated]. Second: we don’t actually know if memory drop rates differ by class and rank. Before they became masters, Kai and Effie both got memories from their first transcendent kills. I bet the drop rates for higher ranks and classes go up as well to make up for the added difficulty

              Edit: there’s also a possibility that it’s a narrative decision. “Sunny has a transcendent memory btw” is not a good thing to just drop on the reader. It’s a little contrived. So G3 has to show the battle with the corrupted creature that gave him the memory. He’s killed plenty of corrupted creatures in large scale battles like this one without getting memories.
